I have never seen that printed and ever since I have been in, unles you are in a combat zone and need to move now, nobody is allowed to ride in a towed vehicle. If it will not track right or needs someone to steer it you call a wrecker.
As it is privately owned you can put whatever you want on your vehicle. I have my old Eng. unit markings on mine. I have had many conversations with MPs on this subject.
While doing some research on the CA CDL issue I called the DMV and the CHP and what I found out is that in CA if you have 3 axles AND are above 6000 pds you have to have a CDL, below that you are good (of course a CUCV weighs over 6K). The DMV and CHP guys I talked to thought it was a pretty...
It is a pretty steady drip, I had a mil. mech. look at it but he couldn't figure out where it was coming from (he thought either the cover or the oil pan) I am going to try and clean it up this weekend for a better look but was hoping someone with a little more experience in CUCVs might have run...
I would love to have someone fix it as opposed to me scaping it. I don't have much time left here and having it hauled with my duece to Vegas is just nat an option. (this will actually be paying for a good portion of that)

PB, It's listed in the classifieds. But between the Timing cover leak and the charging issue, it doesn't look to good. I will hope for the best but plan for the worst.:sad:
