    Wolverine Tech Duel Alts

I finely got time to work on our 24V/ 12V alts replacement. I started by mounting a replacement 24V, that was pretty much strait forward. I then mounted the lower mountings points on the 12V to the replacement adjusting bracket that was part of the kit. This was were we started into the...

    Converting to dual alternators

We did the duel Alts from Wolverine Tech, I did mod their set up some, sent them photos and a description of what I did. Seems like they really liked it [thumbzup] They made noises about changing their kit. I KNOW nopics But I am on the other coast from the "She Beast", I'll look around and...

    napa fuel filter

How'd you do that? You must be "Da Man". I just went that route before my 400 mile trip ( no time to mail order anything in) and I checked all the ones in the box (was waiting for the other gaskets to arrive, spacial order) . None of them even came close to fitting.

Dang . . . you guys that have access to all these MV parts and pieces are sure lucky.:jumpin: Out here I have to make due w/ bits of old wood and rusty metal. Being that I don't have any metal fabbing tools sure doesn't help either. Your rig is looking sweeter every day [thumbzup]

    Project Off-Grid M109A3 w/w log

That is exactly what I did, drilled two holes through the floor in each wall section. I did have to soak my drill bits in gasoline afterward to clean them. I would say that there are no drain holes because of deep water fording. I think these boxes were water tight to the bottom of the windows...

    Flame heater check valve

It seems like the flame heater check valve is leaking. I cleaned it off w/ brake cleaner (that's what the dirty streaks are from) and can't find where it's coming from. Is it poss that it's leaking from the end of it? Neither fitting looks to be leaking anywhere as much as drips off the end...

    Roof coat or Bed liner?

I have two M146's that need to have the roof sealed, they leak when it rains. Have heard that someone used bed liner on the roof of their M109 (i think). I'm wondering about whether that would be better than doing some kind of mobile home roof coat. I'm guessing that it would cost more, still...

    Mysterious brake fluid loss

I've been wanting to do this to Elise's "She Beast" as well. Can I get a parts list from you? It looks like you had to get the reservoir, mounting bracket, clamp, and line? I know that I need to change the vent on the MC to a barbed fitting. Did you use a 90deg fitting?

    Where did you go?

In Elise's "She Beast"; Went to the Dirtbag gathering in the spring, about 60 miles each way, Then in the summer, up the Eastern Sierras to the Black Rock Desert and back down through Death Valley, 1500 miles. In My "little Draggin' "; Just went to Parker (on the colorado river...

Newbie! Just bought a Deuce M109A3, need some advice

All good info, we just did 1500 miles in Elise's "She Beast" this summer. Ran up the Eastern Sierras to the Black Rock Desert and back down through Death Valley. We did have some issues w/ oil dumping into the clutch, first from a tranny that doesn't like too much oil, and then from a rear main...

Brass cup Which way is the right way up? When I put in the second & final I had to have the cup domed up, On the primary it fit w/ the cup domed down.

    fuel filters

I just replaced mine w/ locals from Car Quest. the primary was #86511, and the secondary & final were #86512. one of the gaskets in the primary worked, for the seconds I needed to order 2x gasket #90070. I think these NAPA #'s are good; Prime - #3511 Sec - #3512 gaskets for seconds, - #5070

    M35a2 additional alternator

we did get a dual set from him this summer, it had some mild damage (bent) to the fan(?) that mounts behind the pulley. Offered to replace it myself if he sent me a new one, so far he hasn't. He also does not reply to emails very often. They came w/ no parts list or install instructions, still...

Installing a Passenger Side Jerry Can Holder on a M35

Thanks, I did that w/ our 105 as well. It has (at the moment) 3x 35-40Gal tanks, an air powered diaphragm pump, filters/water separator. We can pump from some source to tanks on the trailer or into the tank on the truck. Can also pump from trailer to truck.

    Tall Guy looking for options

wipers Our 109 (the "She Beast") had the driver's wiper motor flipped over. The first time we ran into rain it didn't work, the pass one did. So I did a quick, in the rain, change over . . . the pass motor, now on the driver's side, didn't work:roll: After playing around a bit it seems...
