Well for me to be able to argue with him I would need to know a bit more MV jargon. My dad was in the army for 17 years but I failed to pick up on it. He was even an aviaiton mechanic.... I don't know what the "PMCS" is.

What if I want to drive 4 hours away to an offroad park just to putt around and watch others. I think that would be a tad much for "maintenance" :D... plus if it comes back slightly muddy. How would I explaint that? Officer I was just making sure the 6 wheel was working properly. :)

Well I want to register it in whatever way that doesn't have all those parade restrictions. It will mainly just be a play toy but would like to occasionaly cruise around in it. I have seen them in texas with registration and inspection stickers in the window with license plates. I want to...
Ok, well he wants 3500$ for it. I think I am going to get it. I didn't see any of the brakes being wet, they were all dry from the inside. They could still be seeping. Like I said I saw no other leaks. I guess it could have built pressure before I climbed in there, but if it didn't have pressure...
It wouldn't hold that pressure for long? The guy didn't know I was coming. I called him and told him and see said where he lived and when hed be home. I beat him there and looked it over for 30 minutes before he arrived. I may have been mistaken but I know the air buzzer didn't come on and I...
They are metal but not welded. They are screwed to the upright support things. They are just thin sheetmetal. The back doors were a little thicker though. All that crap is coming off of it. And thats all of the pics that I got.

Ok, so I went and looked at a M35 near my house today. It don't know what year it is but I do know it is in great shape with the exception of a few small flaws. It has a hard top, winch, interior heater, air front axle, springer seat. The truck hadn't been started in a month and he flipped the...
Well, I will snap some pictures of it. He said he put new batteries on it a few months back (august I think) and it has been about a month since he started it so, maybe the batteries are up, and for safe measures I guess I would go back and change all the fluids to be sure. :D Sounded like a...
Thanks guys for all the input. Sarge/M813rc I will let you know. I have a lead on a truck just a stones throw from my house that has a M35 W/w and hard top, with bows and canvas, good paint, run and drives good, good brakes, recent service for 3500$ so I think I am going to look at that one...
BTW one thing I was kinda worried about was some of the truck he said were "nice" that he wanted 4500$ didn't look as nice as some of the 3000$ ones. And none of them regardless of price with the exception of maybe 2 were as nice as some of the ones I see selling on ebay, GL, for the same price...
Yea, I think so. My buddy has bought rockwells from him and he was a real nice guy to deal with. I drove down there about 3 weeks ago and looked at what he had. (My grandmother lives in Lampasas so I was already in the neighborhood.) He seemed like a real nice guy. I told him I didn't want to...
Wow their are alot of MV owners here in Texas. Who lives near austin that would want to swing down to Liberty Hill this weekend or next to help me inspect/pick out a deuce? :)
