Is this mark inside the fuel shutoff cable cover? How easily should it come off? Have it mostly dissasembled, just waiting to get soldier B to help line up the marks. Just want to be sure before I pull the head off the pump. Guess I should invest in a remote starter button!
I thought so, I just wanted to be shure before I did it. Hopefully that fixes it. and it's not the booster pump. It loaded the base with about 3 gallons of fuel in about 35 miles. Got to be carefull with todays fuel prices!!!
Naturally as usual I've waited to the last minute for this.....
I have fuel in the base, Ive bypassed the FDC, still leaks so...
I ordered a rebuild kit for the pump and my plan is to replace the o rings in the hydrolic head. Can I get away with just lifting it off carefully, replace the rings...
Are there any rules regarding pets? Ive been reading the sites and havent seen anything. Just want to make shure my relief driver ( a Jack Russell ) will be welcomed.
I know I could but Ill only be able to spend a day there, And Ill need to leave so Ill have to have my car. The deuce won't be quite ready for a long trip (id love to do the convoy) So Im just looking for someone along the way in a simular situation to ride with just to break up the long trip.....
Just wondering who from the NE corner is traveling to the show. Possible carpool arrangements, and or the less glorious civilian car convoy......
Im comeing from Maine.
I guess what might work just as well is simply ad HAM radio to the Military Radios catagory. Maybe for the benifit of the forum a HAM and MARS radio catagory.
Radio
Real radios glow in the dark!!! They also keep the shack warm. Yes the SB 220 is a great amp! The large "tube" receivers are also very good, and all military. Collins R-388, 2 Hammarlund R-274c/FRR's and a RCA Diversity receiver. The green box is a AN/PDR-63 Geiger counter (just in case)...
RE: CQ CQ DE N3AGE
Speaking of swap meet...... Anyone here going to the N.E.A.R.fest (past known as Hosstraders) in NH. on the 2nd and 3rd of May? There are usually some military radio and MV people there. A good place to add to the stuff collection!
Radio
The room could be called "The Shack" as most Ham's and other radio operators loveingly call their operateing positions. I have been in the hobby a long time and it has been very rewarding for me. Also over time I've collected a large number of radios, my shack has evolved from shack to...
RE: Re: How to use 12VDC headlights on your 24VDC system .
I agree about Cranetrucks "safety" issue. If one light goes out the other is exposed to 24V and pops, abruptly leaving you in the dark! You could use this idea for aux. lighting, fog lights, driveing lights, but not for anything...
