As far as the DIY type I used it to coat the inside and bottom of my battery box. So far its holding up but it hasn't been that long. Also rolled it on top of the M109, hope it lasts :roll:.

Had the central air, 4 refrigerators, multiple lights and by accident the dish washer all running off the geny. The meter showed it was running at 55% capacity.

Thanks for the foldout info. What has me confused is that the switch box says 240 volt and there are 2 fuses rather than one. The foldout just shows one fuse. The rest of the diagrahm matches as I have 4 circuit breakers and 2 outlet strips with 3 prong receptacles.
Not to pile on but... MIG welding is fine. As with any welding process including stick if its not done properly you are prone to failure. Plus you are correct that if your using seies 70 low hydrogen rods they better be coming out of an oven.

Does anyone know if the 115 volt disconnect box inside the van is wired to the external plug with both pins hot and the shell grounded or set up for one pin hot and one pin common? Can't find a diagrahm and haven't traced the circuits yet. Site searches don't seem to address this question. :|
