I get the same voltage in all 3 switch positions. Plus when I switch to 240v I get over 300 volts.
Is the voltage regulator adjustable?
Yes it is the sheet metal cover and I suspected the cooling issue so I've just run in small spurts to check voltage etc.
I've got a fairly expensive meter and it and the one on the panel both read 188 volts.
Also assuming I can resolve this issue I need the "close to run" panel if anybody has a donor machine. I'll start another thread for that though.
Hooray!!! Rebuilt the IP installed it and it runs :-D.
But..... I'm getting 188 volts out of the 110v receptacle .
I guess I'll read some more, but anybody have a quick solution?
It's producing it at 60hz and my 24 volt ammeter is running in the high yellow range.
Well at least it...
I did finally convince the guy that because of EUC approval my clock shouldn't start running until my final PIF invoice date.
I'll also check shipping costs but I thought an in person recovery would be an adventure. Recovered a Mack fire truck from Macon, GA last year and drove it home...
Well my 'paid in full invoice' just came thru. Talked to the site GL representative and they said the 14 day removal time started from the original invoice date. Which would have meant I had to remove it prior to my EUC approval. Typical GL *#%* I guess.
Anyway if I have a successful recovery...
Just finished tearing down my injector pump to free up a stuck plunger. Everything now moves great but I'm unsure whether or not I have timing issues on reassembly. The Ambac manual assumes you have all the test equipment which of course I don't.
Posted this on Smokstak also hoping for some...
:-D Well after selling both of my goats and my M37 I finally have joined the Deuce club. Just bought the M109 at Fort Reilly. Didn't get a chance to check it ahead of time so I really have my fingers (and everything else) crossed.
I saw in another thread that its possible to visit the site...
I currently have a 60 amp alternator for sale on ebay. Its going pretty cheap. Search under M561 and it will pop up. Not sure if its exactly the same pulley but I have the NSN # listed. Hope this helps.
Re: Green Fever
Sarge,
Unfortunately I think it would make it but no guarantees of course.
Everything has been greased and the engine runs cool and holds 30+ lbs of pressure even when hot.
New master cylinder and all 6 brakes work perfectly.
Personally I would put it on a heavy duty car...
:( Just listed my goat on ebay. Hate to part with her but I need the room too badly. You'll spend a lot more than I am asking to build one into this shape. Hope somebody on here is interested.
Thanks, Steve
Wiper Arms and Blades for newer style motors
OK, here's what I've learned. The Anco 4101 (NAPA 60-750) fits the knurled nut and the length works. However, the bayonet connector is too small for most standard blades. Anco couldn't even tell me the correct blades to fit. So I picked up some Anco...
Thanks, I've tracked down the arms as Anco #4101. They fit the knurled nut perfectly now I'm waiting on the wipers to see if the combination is the right length. If not then the Anco #4103 arm is longer. My wiper motors are the newer ones without nuts to hold the wipers.

One of the last items I need are two wiper arms for my goat. I have the non-tapered mount type. Anybody have them or know of any for sale? I'll also need the blades but would be happy just to find the arms.
Thanks, Steve
In our part of the country keeping the inside of the goat dry can be a priority. I have two goats, one with a hardtop and one with a soft top. I cannot tell much difference in noise levels. If you wear recommended hearing protection as we all should there is no noticeable difference. Keeping out...
Dave,
I have a gama goat hardtop in the original crate. I bought
2 of them 4 years ago from Colemans. I'm located in Cincinnati and would let you have it for $500.00. email me if you are interested.
