Quick FYI. The yellow 5 LED marker lights on the front are no longer available, only a 2 LED light can still be bought. If you have to do the clearance lights on the top of the cab you will have to place all 5 if you want them to match.
The AT2's I've seen are much smaller in diameter than the XZL's. It might be okay to have a different brand on the front axle compared to the rears, but I wouldn't mix tires on the rear

The best advice I have it to air down in the sand. The suspension design in the 5 ton will always bounce. Replacing the worn dog bones may help but it wont eliminate it. At Pismo beach I took the valve core out of the rear tires on my old 931a2 with 16.00's. Driving around in the sand with zero...

I agree, leave the 15w-40 in there. The trans in the 7 ton runs WAY cooler than a M939 and I think ATF would be fine in the Allison 4000 because it runs so much cooler BUT its a complex trans and you'll never get all the motor oil out if you switched to ATF.
I don't agree that "it just takes time" because I've filed three different small claims law suits against GP and then magically my SF-97 appeared within days.
