You can do it either way. The supersingle wheels can be bolted on reversed from the front like 99% of the folks on here I've seen - or you can flip the rear hubs like I did, to run them in the same orientation as front.
It's a lot of extra work, but as I discovered - it's a great way to force...
Here''s a couple of IIxs intercom units. I think they are mono in sound, but they are otherwise almost the exact same thing as what I have. The iNova I have was built to compliment the Denali headset - which is VERY expensive...
RE: SS
I believe the David Clark headsets also come in the standard GA style (I think that stands for general aviation) plugs. It's actually two seperate plugs. If they are GA plugs they'll work. If they are military connectors they won't work. The military connector is totally different...
RE: SS
I used FlightCom equipment. So far I am really impressed. I use it for driver-passenger communication when I'm on the freeway (it's pretty loud in there) and I use it daily to listen to my MP3 player, too.
The main unit is a FlightCom iNova, and my headsets are 4DLX models. I bought...
Oh, Steamynachos, thanks a lot for the pics. nice to know it can be done. If you could determine the brand and number that would be great. Appreciate the trouble.
You don't seem to understand - I wasn't trying to better anything. I wasnt' trying to clean anything up. I was not trying to make it enormously worse, and I don't think I did - just a little lower to the ground. Send me your email address and I'll start sending you pictures of all the cars...
I never said the Sheriff would pay anything. They clear it, and the tow truck takes it. Land owner pays that is stuck with the car pays. It used to be much worse there for the power company, there used to be 4-5 cars there, stuffed down the access road to the towers, but they put the concrete...
When I bought my house the previous owner left a car in my driveway and moved to Minnesota. I called the local towing company to see about removing it. They said I had to have the local sheriff clear it, and then after I paid them $75, they would take it away and attempt to collect some more...
Since some people seem a bit offended by this thread, I've decided to include a couple of friendlier pictures to show that the damage really isn't that bad after all.
I really think this is an improvement. Besides, customization is really hot right now.
Flame on....
Well, consider this - Every month or two a beautiful mid-80's car appears at this PRIVATE PROPERTY turnout by the road. After a couple days the wheels are always the first to go. Then it begins magically getting filled with appliances and garbage from other fine citizens that are looking for...
I want that BIG truck sound (and the extra braking would sure be nice too!)
Does anyone make a REAL Jacobs style engine brake?
(not an exhaust brake, although if I can't find a Jake brake I may do an exhaust brake...)
I've got six more ready to go on if I need them. With these wheels I can swap a tire without removing the wheel from the truck. By the way - these pics were with no front axle drive. I was only pushing with the rears.
Driving home today I spotted an abandoned car in a turnout along the road near my house that has been dumped for a week or two now. This is a real common spot for jerks to dump off their junk cars for the county (aka-taxpayers) to remove...
I felt like it was my civic responsibility to pitch...
I finished the winch install today and drove the truck about 100 miles+
No more noise and the winch/pto work great. I am still a little unsure what mode the pto/truck needs to be in to check for freeplay in the output shaft, but like I said before - with the motor off and in gear, and the...
I reinstalled my pto today with two .020" gaskets from napa and some rtv sealant. The previous owner was running only onegasket and it wasn't making any noise and functioned fine for some time without problems. He removed the pto to use on another rig, but then ended up selling back to me...
I already have a NSN P/n (5330-01-396-0000) for the M813 PTO gasket.
Does anyone have any part numbers for other civilian brands I can use to cross reference for the NAPA number when I try to find one tomorrow?
Is this the same gasket pattern as a M35?
