    Newbie ? on M105 trailers

VALIUM, gentlemen, and if that doesn't work, a good big dose of Crown Royal. At one point in time, you were a Newbie, too. Be civil and constructive, or just be quiet. I was OIC of recruit troop for a while, and our job was to train them, not to prove who was the biggest Anus!

    Engine oil in CDR valve?

A little oil is OK. That is what this is designed to do. And NO, it's a one way valve, and shouldn't blow both ways. It's meant to vent the crankcase emissions up, and not get fuel back into your lube oil. If you have too much oil in your valve, you have a back pressure problem, which...

    Transmission shifting hard and high

They sell them by the foot. Cheap! Way cheaper than a tranny shop will ding you for. Replace any hose that does not flex easily. You should get out of NAPA for less than $30.oo . Do one hose at a time, and guard from heat ... exhaust .... report back when done!

    The green disease finally struck

Some where I also have the CF - TM for the above cab rack that we had installed on the MLVWs ( CDN M35). I can't recall them on the 135, but they sure solved storage problems!

    Uses for Deuces

Our M135 is firmly retired. It normally goes out in support of Branch 118 of the Royal Canadian Legion. It pays respect to our veterans, does PR in community parades ... AND ... at Christmas, it helps Santa restock the Toy Store, at our local Salvation Army! Every kid deserves a toy at...

    The green disease finally struck

Nice M38. Now you just need the gun to go with it. You can find the TMs for the M135 here: MilitaryTrucks.ca Website - M135 Tons more interesting info, we used these beasts for a long time!

M135 CDN W/W Coming Home Soon

Drag your Butt down the road and go have another look at the rig that Super Dave has. Just please wipe the drool out of it when you're done. His is by far the nicest one that I have seen rolling, and not hiding in a museum!

    OIF/OEF pics

OPSEC is also what prevents us from posting GL Forklift Post Battle Damage Pics as well! Just for info, I do have some pics that were taken by CDN troops, but by request, I can not post them. Or email .... Sorry. The OIC was quite specific, and even though our crew is home now, the enemy...

    Coming Attraction - project #6 M43 build

As if we had any doubt the the Crown Royal Quality Assurance team would not finish this job! Some of us are too far to drive to the rally, so when you get the time, fill us in with the "Inside " joke. I, for one have wasted way to much time, salivating and waiting for that beast to make...

Replace all your GMC weather stripping

To quote a "Frank's Red Hot Sauce" advert, "I use that Sh+t on everything". It worked great to seal the winsheilds on the M135, and still allow the proper fold up action.

    G749 preservation

Thanks. With any luck we'll have an old style M105 ready for our Chistmas Toy Drive. I need more room for all of the toys and bikes that we donate to our local Salvation Army! Now, how about some pics of where you are in your build.

Pulling 2x2s out of stake pockets

This is the smart way. Drill the crap out of it, Get out the chisel, and when you get enough of it out, a hook .... maybe even on a slide hammer should clean the rest of the crap out. In this case, heat is NOT your friend.

    1944 cmp

I know of one on the Left Coast which is parade ready. Rob is downsizing. He is on MLU and also Western Command. If you need, PM me and I'll give you his contact info. I would really hate to see this truck leave our area, but as long as it gets a good new home, I'll find another truck to fill...

    Tanks At The Beach

Well done! I know that you enjoy your "Toys", but it is always so nice to see you doing your usual thing, and spreading the smiles around. It is nice that the custody of some vehicles ends up with the right custodians!

Help under standing the lights on a 2.5

The correct tool for this job is the Left Handed Crescent Wrench.

    Watch your hight!

Get out your tape measure and labelling gun. Post the unloaded clearance on your dash, near the most critical guage. ( the one that you are most afraid of on YOUR truck .. they varry! Me, air guage. If you miss that one, well ... get out your wallet. Stupid repairs can be kind of spendy!
