    G749 preservation

I like the tires! Extra points for not running over the Video Camera... It sounds sweet. Good Work! What are you going to do for the bed? Original or workshop box ~ like the M109?

Saw an air braked M35a2 yesterday

Given the choice, I will ALWAYS take an air brake truck. They are way more efficient, and the daily procedure is so simple that a donkey could do it!

    Latest Tactical Vehicle

If you got one of them there things.... YOU JUST MIGHT BE A REDNECK! But who would be brave enough to call you on it?

    springer seats

Try this. http://www.bostromseating.com/ProRide.html I will NEVER, EVER, again use a springer seat. They literally broke my back. The Bostrom Telledega, is going into the M135. The seat base is readily available from any good truck boneyard for cheap. Seat belts are a strap from the floor to...

    Argo 6X6 Bigfoot

Hunters and prospectors use them up here fairly frequently. Snow, Mud, Rocks, Water... No problem! Ice, not so much!

    Right Hand Drive Deuce?

Unless you go old, and get a CMP, from what I recall, they all were LH drive.

    NO LONGER Wrecked wrecker

I must have missed it, but which part do you think initally caused the failure, and your attempt at a Private Pilot's lisence? BTW, up here, we had a huge problem with the U-bolts on our MLVWs. They were all grounded until they were replaced. No inspection, just across the board replacement...

    1953 m-211

M211 W/W. Nice! More details and photos please! I'm a sucker for punishment. What trailer, and pics of Radio and setup would be nice!

    M-530 B or M-530 C

If the great LOTTO Gods smile upon me, one of both please! Eventually I will get one.... or at least that's the plan!

I’m not sure this is the right place to post this thread

Nice score, but it came from one of our Afgahan work up bases. I would bet that that thing has been ridden harder than a Khabul donkey. I know my troops, and the enthusiasm that they will put into a mission.... and they know that their trucks have a lifetime warranty. Do let me know of the...

    new to the big stuff

We need some more details as to which truck you have, before we could refine the advice. If you look in the reference section of this site, you will find many Technical Manuals. The first one to read would be the generic drivers manual for all military vehicles.

    Choosing Custom Plates

    X-ARMY !!! Enough said!

    I Love My Truck

There is a story about a Cougar and a drive through bank teller, but I don't think that my crew members are ready for me to re-tell it yet. Let's just say that involved a few Mounties, and delayed a couple of promotions. It sure was fun....

    M215 & Air show

That is a Schweeet 215! I need to see more pics of it!

    M211...custom??

Pull it apart, and see what actually is smoked. These trucks were built tough for a reason. Post pics as you go.

    Camo Stencil & Paint Kit

    Now this looks interesting.

    M8 Armored Car in Iraq

I would love to tell you the story about an M113 and how it changed ownership, but there is something called a statute of limitations, and it has not expired yet. The excercise WAS successful!

    Eye Safety

The table of establishment and the scale of issue, requires that you come in having 2 eyes. They might be kinda handy for when you retire. Seriously, you only have a pair. Try to keep them. This means FOD, and Welders Flash. Your choice, but the guide dog can't drive your deuce!

    MVPA 2012 Alaska Highway Convoy

For the ones who will be travelling through Vancouver BC, PM me. I will try to make your passage easy. I know a few stopping points, but I can't follow you Way up north. If you have questions about the border, I may be able to bump your query in the right direction. The only real thing that...
