Just had a M135 given to me.

It's a piece of crap. Now, just ship it up to me and I'll take care of the proper and respectful disposal! Seriously, you got a sweet deal. You know as well as I do, that truck was way ahead of it's time. They do have their problems, and their own share of moods, but they are incredibly fun...

    Climbing the Ranks

It should be noted, that there Is a difference between quanity and quality. That would help to explain the difference between Rank and Respect. Most of the guys on this site know so much more than I ever could, about Green Trucks.... that is why I'm not afraid to ask them dumb questions...

    DUKW Lawsuit

I was a ground pounder, but in my stint as a charter boat Captain, the International Rules of Right of Way dictated that a vessel which was "Not Under Command", ie: disabled, ALWAYS had right of way, and all other vessels of any class had the duty to avoid the obstacle. Let them try to sue...

    Gummed Carb

You guys are the reason why I asked this question. The answers that I am getting are extremely valuable to me. "If we knew answers, it wouldn't be called research." Albert Einstien. Thanks again. Keep the suggestions coming!

    Say TTFN to the M60!

Rail move is the only way. Too bad that Uncle won't help to show history. My personal thanks to you and the museum crew, for what you do, to preserve that chunk of history, and let just anybody see it. That's dedication! We need more people cut of the same cloth, and sponsors with...

    New guy from Norway

Unleaded fuel, with the additive is mandatory... unless you want to maintain an ongoing and expensive realtionship with your valves. From what I've found, every 3rd tank needs to have the additive, but if you can, every tank sure won't hurt. Remember what fuel these trucks were designed to run...

    Road trip to Alaska

If you are going to do it in 2011, and will be coming near Vancouver, B.C., I'll be off for the month of July, and may be able to assist with routing on our side of the border. Heck, I might even fire up the bike and tag-a-long for a bit. Sorry, the M135 just is too expensive to take on long...

    Climbing the Ranks

Do remember, that Military rank is something that you pay the proper respect to. Most people who wear it have earned it. Some slid by and got promoted well above their capabilties. We still saluted their insignia. Other guys just earned our respect. While we may not have always liked their...

    12 volt radios in 24 volt m35a2

As previously stated, either get an invertor or a battery equalizer. If you fell rich, just do the tap, and then get ready to replace both 6TL Batteries, fix the generator, and rebuild the regulator. Your choice. Been there, done that, and finally got smart! Under $50 bucks for an invertor, our...

You're hooked now. Parades are way too much fun. Keep up the good work. Toys for Tots will be coming up, soon, if you can, get involved with that.
