    multi fuel shelter heater.

I have one of the heaters from Greg. I used it in the back of my deuce when it had the built cover and it worked very well. I used corn and wood, because I was unable to find a jerry can with the correct size cap. I hope to be picking up an S280 from another member soon and it will be going...

Need some advice/suggestions for painting M109A3 Deuce

I did the 4:1 with Xylene, the same as the Rapco paint. If I did it less it tends to plug up the gun after a few minutes of spraying. But let me warn you, painting one of these trucks can take a long time. Week number 5 for me, but I can see the end.

    Master Cylinder Rebuild

Looks can be deceiving. If the job is worth doing, it's worth doing it right the first time. By taking 5 minutes to hone it now it will save you plenty down the road. Just my 2 pennies rubbing together here.

    How much Herculiner ?

As I recall he sat there and told us it took 2 gallons and 2 quarts. He was very adamant about that as I remember.

    Removing, rebuilding, reinstalling Hydraulic Head

Well I do look forward to the first test drive and I do hope and pray that it holds a good long time. But now I think it's time to give credit where credit is due. Westy for getting me hooked up with Gimp. Gimp for all the help over the phone and of course the box of parts and my dad, for...

    Removing, rebuilding, reinstalling Hydraulic Head

Well I put it all back together. Then I went to try it and...... nothing. Then I let the batts. charge a bit more and hit it with a shot of ether. She fired right up. She runs great and no leaks to speak of. I will have to wait for the rain to stop before I can take it out for a victory...

    Removing, rebuilding, reinstalling Hydraulic Head

I have an UPDATE. I talked with Gimp on the phone and believe it or not, I may have forgotten something. The shaft that actuates the fuel shut of has a small O ring on it. That shaft and O ring need to be in place before testing for leaks. I put that in and I am happy to report there is no...

    Removing, rebuilding, reinstalling Hydraulic Head

Well it was without question a learning experiance. However, I am sad to report that the HH leaks real bad through the fuel shut off. I will go back to the shop later today and see if there is anything else I can try, but at the moment I am out of ideas. So if anyone has a good/mostly good HH...

    Check your fuel pump!!!

Well I puled my fuel pump this morning to check the line. Everything looks new in there. My only concern is that it appears to be regular fuel line and not the submersible typoe of line. My line is also labled as 1/2", I am including pics so the size can be seen by all who read this in the...
