Check Alfa Heaven in Aniwa, WI.
I unthreaded the fitting from the waterpump, added an elbow and a short piece of pipe. Then cut the steeline and connected them with a short heater hose and hose clamps. Works so far.
Correction, it looks like the right rear may be a dual wheel. See if the center sticks out further and the tire is set in about an inch further. (It may actually be 1.25". Can't remember for sure)
Gimpy is right. You should really have 10 dual wheel style rims. I suppose you could get by with 8. The back spacing is different so the duals have space between them.
I just ordered a set of manifold gaskets from Alfa Heaven today $17 per set. Friendly people. I ordered a second set for the yellow M220 too. Luckily the manifolds are good yet.
No more tick, tick, tick..
Sam Winer is the best price I have found on a new one.
Ask for Robert Zetzer or Rich in military surplus parts.
330-628-4881.
$74.95 total including shipping. You need to save your filler neck.
As of 10-25-2012 Rich claims to have about 30 new surplus units left. I will post pics and a...
I just ordered one yesterday for $60 plus shipping $14.95. I will get you the info in the morning. You can find them other places, but they get more expensive. PM me your phone number and I can call you first thing in the morning.
I had the same feeling when I drove the M220 home this summer. It felt like someone was standing on the brakes and I would give her more gas to compensate. It felt like the truck just plain got heavy. It kept getting worse and then all was good. I was sure the airpack was pushing the brakes on...
Called a friend of mine today. Seems he needs a big metal lathe and I need a exhaust bender. He has a bender, I have a lathe with a 18" swing. We are going to trade equipment for a few months. This is GOOD!
I was also looking at a Donaldson muffler type 5 number M065073.
Here is the link

Since the muffler is shorter, I think a guy could add tight 90 degree elbows with the ends flanged. Should line up to the pipes easily. The...
Who would have thought there were cactus in Wyoming? Gene was calling us as we were supposed to be back to his place in Custer SD for supper. Meanwhile we were 80 miles away on some junkyard wild goose chase rolling logs over looking for scorpions. The boys cought a scorpion in Wyoming. It came...
Another antelope. Unfortunately I lost the pics of the 5 ton tractor converted to a camper. Here are a few pics of it. Note the granite from Crazy Horse mixed in with the paint. Makes a heck of a non-skid surface. He stores his tent poles between the cab and box. They are used to support the...
Saw several antelope, buffalo, mule deer, and even some elk on top of a ridge. The deuce was an awesome way to see them! The scenery was beautiful. The trip was something the kids and I will never forget.
