Yessir, I saw that note. I'm nowhere near my cargo truck so I can't peek under the dash to confirm the existence of the circuit. I thought that hopefully, since the circuit was drawn, then it had to be there.....
I'm considering what it will take to equip the M35A2 for towing a trailer with...
Hey guys,
According to the schematic, the deuce trailer plug pin "K" has 24 volt aux power whenever the main switch is on. The current is supplied by a dedicated "aux power circuit breaker" via circuit #37 to the trailer plug.
Can someone confirm this, and does anyone know what the circuit...
Interesting symptoms. Would it be too hard to loosen the exhaust flanges and take it for a short drive?
Im thinking the exhaust may be restricted. That would give you most those symptoms.

When I want the front axle locked, I want to flip a switch and feel it pull. When the obstacle is conquered I want to turn it off in order to have my steering control back.
For me, an air locker is the way to go, especially if you already are fitted with on board air. Lockers and a compressor...
If you have good, straight hard doors then you have the basis for making molds. In my opinion it's much harder to start from scratch, so I think you are at an advantage having doors.
There are some pretty good Utube tutorials on making fiberglass molds and laying up parts. Have a look before...
I would think that "closed loop" operations require a measurement of the spent (exhaust) gasses. The sensors you mention all provide input to operate within a mapping schedule, but don't create any form of feedback.

My dueces both had straps like that through bolted to the hoops. On the bed cover there were toothed clamps for cinching those straps holding up the rolled up sides.
Those straps in the first post look a little long though. Maybe they are for securing the pioneer tools?

This is a wild guess, but if there are stray currents passing through the engine, then maybe that's why you are not getting to 0 volts through the solenoid circuit.
A simple test would be to clamp one end of a battery jumper cable to the negative side of one battery, and the other end of the...
Spock,
I'm curious and interested in your project and intended use! Best wishes to you and your purchase.
Another topic: Your thread title mentions tropical Queensland, yet your member location is Brisbane. I've only visited the Gold and Sunshine coasts once, so maybe I'm a bit daft: Has...
I read the thread from start to finish, and I agree NDT went all the way. Awesome!
Now, should we think up a darling acronym using his screen name?

By the symptoms described, my guess is (x2) a brindled U-joint in the right drive shaft. The repair requires the removal of the hub and spindle, then slide the axle out. Not too bad a job. However I would point out that it's good practice to do both sides, and you may want to service the front...
HC, are those 365's on deuce rims with flipped hubs? Could you please take a photo that clearly demonstrates the rear tires are under the bed?
I wanna run that set up and I cannot have the tires protrude out from the bed. Where I live it's a big no-no.
Thanks,
Rick
