It sounds like a great plan is coming together. I will get with Mike sometime over the next or so and look at the shower stuff he has. I will have my light kits there and will not need a generator to power them. One thing about me I would like to point out. I attend these rally's because I like...
Might I make one more suggestion to ease the discomfort of the change. I think if we can round up enough stuff to have a "break" area (that's all I could of to call it) where attendees can sit down, hang out and socialize, it might eliminate the need to go back to the cabins and so forth to...
I smelled trouble when I noticed there had been about 30 post today. This definitly changes things, but that's OK. I will call in the morning and move my "rv" spots to the new area.
If it is OK I would like to set up some kind of hot showers and so forth at the new field. We have electricity...
The real job is not the lights, it's the hitch. That is a lot of towing and there is no easy way to mount such a hitch. The cabins are going quick. No cheap one's left as of last night. I am inviting my wife to join me and she is concerned about places to shop and lodging. I thought I would rent...
I have one in about the same shape as yours. Mine is missing the engine cover. A guy up north ended up with it at the auction I bought mine at. I did take some pictures of it so at least I know what is on it. I would suggest you go to the G503 site for more info. There are a lot of guys over...
I'll throw this out for everyone to think about (and by everyone, I mean the couple of you that make the decissions). If someone will rent spot 77 (I can if need be) and if we can get permission from DP, I can erect an arch that we can run the 50 amp and a water line over. Just a thought. A lot...
I just reserved spot 64. If you guys get 63 we can use the power from both. That will save you guys a little money and as long as I can park there at night I will be good. I got 64 for Thursday night until Sunday morning. I wasn't sure what everybodys plans where and I thought it was you all...
I am thinking about reserving a RV spot this year to pull the "dodge" into each night (I need power for the CPAP). I must admit I have not read most of the thread but am I looking at the right spots? It looks like spot 65 is what is closest to the site and is the one the gang wants for the...
Rear wheel drive only. It does have springs on each axle. Kind of stiff and will bounce you right out of the seat if you let it. Really hard on the ...... bottom
I saw this little vehicle up for sale and knew I had to have it. $210 later and I did. It has a dodge slant six and was made in 1977. It's like my M886 has a little brother. My daughter thinks it's her "car". It weighs over 5000 pounds so it is heavier than my first car. It's a former "army"...
If people will steal the fuel out of a tank, I could never put something on my truck that cost a lot and could be taken with a screwdriver while in the rest stop john. I worry too much.
Negative! I don't know why it didn't it spook me, but I instantly thougtht "I just waisted ______ dollars". I guess I do enough dumb stuff that I now think about how much I'll have to work to pay for the screw up.
Since I don't mind bringing shame to my family and I wanted to start a new club, I thought I would post what happened to me yesterday. I hope this will help everyone remember to check everything over good before you head out.
I left my house with a load of scrap metal in my M813 and got up to...
I have found this thread to be very helpful. I purchased a set of wagon wheels last week that I had planned to use on my M886. After putting them on just to see what they look like, I am having second thoughts. My brother thought they looked too big and I tend to agree. We use the truck for...
I was wondering if anybody had gotten it yet. I called and had made plans to drive my M813 and equipment trailer to pick it up, but $2500 was too much for me. It took a week to get the price out of them. I'm not saying it's not worth it, but it's not worth that much to me (I'm poor).
I hope you guys don't mind but I found the pictures I took on the B-25. It was 5 of these plains in the air at once and it was so cool to be up there with them. I was right behind the pilots for take off and landing. They don't let anybody get in the nose at those times in case of a crash...
I just read over a lot of the post from the last couple of days and I have a suggestion or two.
I may be wrong, but I suspect a lot of the stuff that stressed some of us out at the rally could be done long before hand via the internet. Obviously reserving a cabin or RV spot is done long before...
Double Ditto, I flew on it about 10 years ago. I made a 30 minute video I need to post up on youtube or something. Best $300 I have ever spent.
I flew on a B-25 a year later. I might have some pictures of the B-25 trip here somewhere. I was the last to board it and they put me right behind...
I’m very opinionated so here goes my suggestions.
Trail rides.
I rode on one trail ride and it was very fun. Wish I had done more.

Food.
Good to have food available. I appreciate all the work that goes into this.
Sustain.
Check in at gate.
Very good to have...
