Finding out the info on here is easy. Getting the DMV to believe we know what we are talking about is a whole nother story. I am concerned about EPA stuff with 85 model trucks.
I have quite a tale to tell, but I'm sure I'm going to tell it all. What I wanted to get some opinions on here is what I should do with these worthless sf97's I just got from GL.
Here's the short story. My trucks (four of them) came from here in Columbia. It took over 2 months for the EUC to...
Where did you see it? People on the G have been looking for this. It used to sit somewhere and then the place was sold and I don't think anybody knew where it ended up. I haven't been on the G in a few weeks and for all I know it is a long thread on it now.
Time for a sf97 from GL.
Truck was just bought from:
Eastover SC (Ft. Jackson) I think it is a nation guard truck
VIN: 130088
Reg: 4D3062 (this is on the doors)
M35A2 with out winch
Bumper has been painted over to protect the innocent.
Thanks, Joe.
I am looking or an alternative for my Burma jeep until I have saved up $1400 for new 7.50 by 20 tires. I am attempting to modify some hummer wheels because they are about as tall but cheap and they will barely go over the front brake drum. These look like they might work but would definitely...
I don't want to question you, but are we absolutely sure they are 16"? The only reason I ask is because if they were 17 or 18", they would be perfect for a project I'm working on. If they measured 16" in the narrowest part they would work for my project.
Again, I am not a tire expert, but here's a few pictures that I think everybody needs to see. The first one is what a deuce wheel looks like with out a ring. I have cut the lip off to slide the dayton wheel over it, so it's a little short. What I want you to see here is the void the ring sits...
The shorter lipped ring looks like it for a dayton wheel. I could not imagine putting than on a deuce rim because the grove is different but I am not a wheel expert. I use dayton wheels to make my wide rims.
PA system:
I was not at last years event and didn't know you guys had a PA system. My 16 mm projector has a PA system in it. I could have provided that since I had the projector with me. I will bring it next year for primary PA or back up if a more practical one is available. Back up plans...
As a master plumber I have a suggestion for sinks and so forth. First off, is the 4" pvc pipe sticking out of the ground in the kitchen area connected to a sanitary sewer? If so it would not be hard to place some sinks over it and have a very tidy hand washing area as well as a place to wash...
One thing I would suggest would be a central command post of some kind with a bulletin board or some other devise where the days quasi plans would be posted. I understand most of the events where plan as you go, but a more announced trail rides would be nice. I didn't plan to ride much but it...
I was looking at a 5 ton bobber that is for sale, that's all I'll say, that I am confused about. I am wondering how people come up with weight limits, etc. I will copy and paste some of the info here:
"Hauls 10,000 pounds"
" the rear springs are of the front of a 2 1/2 ton truck"
"New XZL...
Well it was good to meet all the new people. I want to apologize for the chrome wheels on the back of my Dodge ambulance, I just didn't have time to change out the wheels before the trip .
Just for information purposes, I was wondering if the lights I put up Thursday and Friday night...
I received this email today. In a nut shell does this mean GL did not send paperwork to Battlecreek? Others at the same event that won deuces had their EUC's approved weeks ago.
Your inquiry to the DLA Disposition Services Customer Service office
requesting status of the End Use Certificate...
One more here. I hope most of you come to the rally this weekend in Georgia. If you don't have a truck or trailer, come anyway. Even if it's just for a day.
Joe
Well I'm not bringing the cages since there is interest in both of them being picked up here. Mr. Alredneck, let me know a few days before you think you will be out this way and I'll make sure I'm around.
