I am leaving Blythewood shortly and I hope to arrive with ice by 5:00. All you kitchen guys come over and get all you can handle. I dont' have it in an ice chest so it will be melting. It's in bags. Look for the ambulance. It has a big red cross on the side with a trailer full behind it.
Joe
I have a quick question for you kitchen folks. If I bring a bunch of ice can you use it? I have a large ice machine and if I can find some coolers I will bring as much as I can. If you guys don't think it's worth the trouble, I will not hunt any coolers.
Joe
I have loaded the trailer with the big stuff. Eight deuce tires and wheels, most new and several spoken for. Two mep 701A diesel generators (3kw). They will be reduced in price Saturday if I still have them, so if you want one, keep an eye on them. One super crusty hard top for deuce or the...
No they weren't bridge trucks.
A couple of weeks ago our scouts put up a monkey bridge in my back yard and I had them put it over the pond and use two trucks as scaffolding to climb on and work off of. One truck is the M35A2 I am letting my father in law have and the other was my M813. You...
Hey guys, I am doing something potentially dumb. I am having my scout troop come down Friday night and I have decided to eat Saturday breakfast and lunch at the MKT. So that will be about 10 more for each of those meals. We will be raising the flag at our camp site Saturday morning and will...
I don't have time to round up much, but if anybody needs M35 tires mounted, in like new condition, I can bring some. I am wanting $60 each for like new. I can bring 10 or so. If anybody wants some, please PM me. I don't check this thread often, too busy right now.
Joe
Holy crap, you're right. I plan to leave in 2 weeks. Where did the time go and how will I get everything ready in 2 weeks. I have already scratched plans A, B, C, D, E and F. Will plan G work out or will I end up just driving my old Dodge again with a small trailer of good for trade.
Joe
Not trying to sell anything here, but if you are looking for a replacement cab and an A2 cab will work I am parting out a truck or two and I'm about an hour south of Charlotte. I will be busy until after the Georgia rally.
Joe
Well here's a thought. I will be driving my M813 and if anybody wants it more than me, they can have it for the right price. I am not trying to sell it but I don't need it. It a former Marine truck with lockers in the rear. If you have a little money and want to smoke it over, look me up...
Hey guys I have a couple of thoughts. First off, I have forgotten all the things I was going to volunteer and do to make the kitchen area a little better. I am a plumber by trade. It seems like there were sewer connections near by and that might make the grease trap unnecessary. Anyway if...
I am looking for some opinions or plain facts too. I am bobbing a M818 and I have read on here that some people use deuce front springs on the rear of a bob to make it less stiff. My thoughts are to use use the 5 ton front springs I have and remove some of the leafs to decrease the stiffness...
I am now confused. I have read in the past here that with a 5 ton with the super singles you don't need to flip your hubs. I assumed this meant that they will track right with these wheels. Well I was looking my M818 over and noticed the front wheels are well inside the outer edge of the...
The windshield frame is pretty simple. I can post some picture of my frame, but I am missing the glass and the frame for the glass.
If you need more info try G503's web site. Lots of stuff on there about GTB's. I think it's G503.com is Military Vehicles, The WWII Military Jeep, Parts, Olive...
Well, like a dummy I posted this question because I looked a few weeks ago (might have been months now) and couldn't find anything but then I looked in the classified and found one. Then I found several threads dealing with the subject. Note to self, do a search right BEFORE posting .
I am planning to get back on my bob truck project soon and one thing that I want to do is put a different fuel tank on it. What I have been looking for and not finding is any info on an externally mounted 24 volt fuel pump to take the place of the in tank pump on the M35A2. Any body out there...
I feel real bad for the original poster here. It seems NC is bad about these things. The only ticket I have gotten in the last 25 years was in a commercial truck in NC. I got screwed. But that is another story. Let me point out something else some of you clearly have not learned yet. I...
This vehicle is a joke. It's not a scout car. It's a dodge truck with a little scout car armor on it. I had a scout car a few years ago that I put an in line six gas engine into with a C-6 trans. I sold it before I finished it. I think it could have been considered a "real" scout car. But...
Thanks guys. I have not done anything with it since my last post. Too many other projects and work. I hope to get back to work on it when it gets warmer. I'll have to call Sam Werner.
I don't think GL could fix this if I asked. The Sf97 came from the DLA this way. I had actually planned to "request" a SF97 through GL and pay the money but GL did this with out my asking them to. I think they did this in hopes that my case with my state agency would resolve. I can't complain...
