It seems that minus the one axle and a few less pounds on the remaining axel would just cut the load rating in half. But I did not think about the front springs being used. I know the tire rating will not be the weak point.

Anyone with a bobbed deuce know what their truck weighs? And is the weight limit simply cut in half (minus one axle)?

IL does not have a weight restriction either for antique tags. Just alot of restrictions on when and where you can drive it.

If you really want a gas deuce, find one that came with a gasser motor and just Bob that one. It will save you alot of time and money. However, you will probably come out ahead by using a multifuel or a diesel if you plan to drive it much.
