We have a multi-fuel 5 ton with a bad turbo. We don't drive the truck but if we do it will be just to move stuff around on the property. Can I just remove the turbo and pipe the air cleaner into the intake and cap the oil line? If I run across a cheap turbo we might pick it up but that's not...
My in-laws live in Gaffney and I have wanted to visit that museum for years. Looks like we should visit next week. My little 2 year old loves vehicles and they have a Huey there too. Only 90 miles from here.

Wait a minute, I have one sitting in the "bus". It is missing the gear that goes on the transfer case. It is still on the transfer case. I could not get it to move. I took the pto off a couple of years ago. I have removed them before and they just slid off. Is there a trick to these...
Unfortunately I have to pull the engine from the 5 ton I sold so it can be picked up. I also need to work about 50 hours a week for the next month. But the most important thing taking up my time is finishing the dump bed on my bobbed deuce. I dream about it. It is consuming me. I must...
RE: Easter travel pics:
Why are all the tree's naked? We have enough leaves down here now to hide all my "stuff". I sure miss seeing it every time I look out of the window :)
Forget it fella's. Those have been sitting there a few years and they told me last year any more of these that where sold would have to be cut into 4 pieces. New demil rule or some nonsense. I watched one bid off a few years ago for about $4000. Word must have got out about the other because...
Hold the phone, I just replaced mine with a good take out and it was it was a killer. I discovered that the take out had two "plugs" at the rear on the sides. This would not let it go into the hole behind the master so it you could swing it down and out. I removed one of the plugs and it...
RE: one
Where are you in central South Carolina? Always looking for local guys to chat with and share the cost of transporting stuff.

RE: Anyone have a dump bed or 14
If any body is looking for a 14 foot M54 bed I have one that is coming off of the truck I am parting out. Not very nice but my brother had a nice green one on a truck he might part out that I might be able to "acquire". And I just had another thought, the dump...
RE: now thats a nice looking rim
That sounds pretty good. If you are proposing what I think you are make sure you measure the clearance between the rim and the brake drum.
I was pondering this subject today and wondered about something I have always heard. I was told that they made the...
That was so wrong. For a moment I thought that something bad had happened to you and was concerned. But before I opened the page I though, maybe I can get something cool, cheap. I'm only human.

Fool 24-7
I ground down the ring on the stock wheel as evenly as I could and made the fit fairly tight. Once I placed the Dayton wheel section over the stock wheel I made sure it was elevated properly by measuring from the lip on the stock wheel next to where I ground it down instead of the very inside...
RE: now thats a nice looking rim
Here's a crude drawing of what I was talking about. The low spot on the left is where the tire would be maneuvered into place. It's not enough space over the hub and brake drum for this depressed area. BTW, I'm no artist.
RE: now thats a nice looking rim
I thought a few years ago that my deuce (former deuce) would look good with some wide single tires on the front and rear. After seeing the Tennis truck at Aberdeen I really wanted to do that but the 14.00 was too tall. Now with the other tires available it's...
Are you talking about your M35? All the trucks I have messed with had holes in the top of the windshield and holes in the top of the higher and forward most bar. They drop down into the holes in the windshield and a washer is welded to this end to keep it from going in too far. They are bent...
Hey, you don't have a catagory for two piece 20" x 11" rims like mine. I'm hurt.
Don't forget the video
