You know, the cage you sit in while you air up the tire so if it blows up it can't get you. I have to bend over to get in mine because it is much shorter than me.
I've done it before but I have a 9 ton trailer with fully working electric brakes. I am not sure what my F350 is rated at but my brother drove my fathers F550 from here in SC to Mississippi and back with a gross weight of 35,000 pounds when we did Katrina relief. When he got above 70 mph he...
Come on down. I am about 20 minutes north of Ft. Jackson. Just give me a few days notice. I might can help you get your truck on the road if you need any help. Always looking for a good excuse to visit the DRMO
I would like to join in too if I can pull it off. I should "Bob" quite road worthy by then and I am definitely dumb enough to drive it . I am going to spend a night at scout camp next week and I don't want to do that. I think I could camp out on something I would enjoy.

Well dude, you are too far away to help, but if any of you guys in the south east ever need stuff like this let me know. I have one of these in the scrap pile right now. I also have a couple of parts trucks and I can't imagine ever needing this hard ware for myself. Any body willing to pull...
I know it's a long shot and scrap dealers are impossible to work with, but I want some chopped up tanks. If anybody out there has the will and time to do it I think it would be cool to keep an eye on these things and work out a deal with the people who get the contract to get some of the scrap...
It sounds like you have just what I need. I'll get with you before you come down.
Thanks Gimpyrobb for the offer but it sounds like Cabell has just what I need and he has to rescue his mermite cans anyway
The chains mentioned earlier are for 9.00 x 20 duals. I have a picture of them...
That sounds great. I'll have to cook that possum we have been feeding
So, do you have any old tires. The nice radials you have on your truck would be welcome too
Re: RE: Re: RE: How wants to swap stuff?
I have a new in the box (at least it was when I bought it) canvas field kitchen tent. I have a new GP small sitting around too. No poles for it though.
Re: RE: How wants to swap stuff?
Temping offer, but ah, well, ah, NO.
Ironically I get plenty of hot air from most of the people I work around for free
I need some tires for my pioneer trailer and I am too cheap to buy any. I also have lots of junk to swap for some tires. So here's the deal. I don't see any where on the site to post such a request. I could have over looked something because I am a part time dummy. If so please point me in...
I gotta chime in. Here's what I have done and it sounds like it will be what some of you are looking for. By the way I have 4 M105's.
take the "bed" from your M105 and set it to the side. Take the frame, lights and everything lower and set them to the side for the day you get a deuce to pull...
They should just pull up but there my be a pin on some models. I think the drop side might have something to hold them in. On the regular bed I have never seen any that don't just pull out. They can be real hard to remove if they have not been out in a while. They all 5 have to come up at...
Well here's some more info. There will be vehicles from every war since WW2 present on display. Anybody can have a vehicle in the show if it looks the period you want to display but it has to be there before the show starts and has to stay until the show if over. If anyone wants to bring a...
RE: fuel can bracket
I just picked one up and I will try to get some pictures of the can holder soon. If any of you guys can help me identify mine I am needing some tires for it. Is this the same wheel as the M37 or the M715?
Thanks,
Joe Trapp
I would like to encourage people to buy such rims if I may. I had an old tire guy look at one of the 14.5's I have and he said to put baby powder between the tube and tire. He said these tires are not made for tubes and they will wear out a tube. The powder would help. What's my point?
$50...
RE: Can
It is a remote, very remote chance I may try to make a quick trip up there. Definitely not in an MV. Definitely not for more than one day.
When I started collecting these old rust buckets I had all the time in the world to work on them and could go anywhere I wanted when ever I...
It would appear some of you are like me and can't make it to Aberdeen this year. Well if you are near Columbia SC we are having out ground and air show the following weekend, May 19 at Ft. Jackson. Check out the link and I will post more when I find out more. I am a member of Celebrate...
