    I dentifying a 2 ton from a 5ton.

I don't suppose logic has anything to do with it but if you remove the tank that is without baffles from the truck the instability problem is solved. No matter what truck you mount it on, that tank will be a problem. Rick

Best place to buy a unimog 404?

Your best source for an unmolested Mog is from a European supplier. I have imported Mogs and registered them here in CR and believe that if it can be done here it can certainly be done stateside! The 404 has been out of service for 2 decades so you will be looking for pretty old stock. I...

    Another HF54 conversion

I lioke your study method. You can sort of intuit your results by viewing them as a change in percentage. 50% pressure change vs 10% leverage change for example. Is there anything on the net regarding changing the valving of those boxes or are they a closed assembly? Rick

    treechopper for M274 mule?

Watching the video gave me the sensation of watching a Saturday Night commercial skit with the quads zipping back and forth scooping up trees. I thought they were being cheezy and copying a video game like Pacman or something. Sorry, I hope you didn't invest in the company. Rick

    71 am general

Wow!!! That is sharp! Kudos to the painter! Hey, allow me an unsolicited recommendation: Take that beauty out to an open grass field with trees as a background (no visible distractions) on a clear day and shoot some "glamor" shots using a good camera. Be cognizant of the lighting and move the...

If you want better economy and believe you have enough power, how about a test of turning down your fuel delivery a tad for a few tanks to see if you can squeeze out your 2-3mpg without all the fussing? Rick
