Here are some things to check. I heard that rattle in the video, but not sure if it's the diff or a u-joint. So, check the fluid in the diff. In fact just drain and refill. The drain plug should have a little magnet on the end of it. Look for metal flakes. Like posted above. Check the...
I think the answer is not enough interest in the market to pay for someone to develop that. Also I'm not sure if the HMMWV rim would fit over the M37 hub. Don't know with out measuring and since I have neither at the moment.... But I think the biggest reason would be not enough interested...
That panel was part of a bigger kit called the frame reinforcement kit (or something like that). Basically it was a bunch a shaped c channel for lack of better description that covered your frame pieces and welded in to reinforce the frame on ageing M151s. The kit was designed for the A2 since...
PB has probably already made arrangements to purchase that one and drag it home... That would look nice all done up in OD behind the K-18...just sayin is all.
What's the difference between riding in a trailer and riding in the back of a duce and a half or 5 ton? The Army say it's unsafe in the back of the 2.5 or 5 ton but I can't see that friggen trailer being any safer.
@papabear if those EE-8s are in leather cases I'll donate my time to the cause if the cases need any restoration. That what my business is leather repair and restoration so I would be happy to help out if needed.
The factory M37 hard top was all metal and doesn't have rain gutters. This thread has a great picture of a USAF with factory hard top which shows no gutters.

I've enjoyed watching your work. Since I can't seem to get time to work on my own truck I've been able to live through watching your work and your post. Keep up the good work! Joe
I was talking about this picture as the 1.5 ton M105 trailer looks like it has a shelter in it and I was wondering if that isn't where that GI was sitting when that picture of him operating the T-195/R-392 radio set. I wasn't dis'en on the K-19. It's just that 1960s Germany had the latest and...
Looking at the other pictures on the page I wonder if that pic of the soldier working the GRC-19 radio set wasn't in a trailer. If you look on the page there is a Duce and a half and a 1.5 ton trailer with a box on it. I wonder if that wasn't where he was sitting. I just highly doubt the...
You know the old girl waited this long for restoration a another day here and there won't hurt it. :D Y'all are doing an awesome job on this truck! Kudos to all of you.
Now I can't wait to see the...as Paul Harvey use to say....the rest of the story. Getting it stop and go condition as well as those great looking seats.
