Copy of one of my invoices when I did this conversion on my m816 using aluminum FMTV wheels (about 1" thick wheels). The studs on the invoice are for the front axle, the nuts are for the rear (what Hammer listed).
The studs are the same diameter front/rear, just different length.
Thanks, will be putting it to use more and more as time goes on haha. Will keep an eye out for a set of jake brakes, when off the throttle the truck basically coasts. My old m35a2 would slow down significantly when off the throttle, not so much with this truck.

For most the 8.3 is a better engine. I like the 250 for my wrecker but with a cargo or tractor I'd rather have the smaller motor

8.3 is a medium duty engine as well, designed for intermittent heavy use. N14 engines are heavy duty, meant for constant use.

For me it comes down to use. If it's going to be loaded most of the time (like a wrecker) I want the bigger motor. If it will alternate empty/loaded I'd rather have the smaller motor for the fuel efficiency when unloaded.
