I'm parting out a M886, pretty large item to ship though,
Also check the classifieds on this site, I have another M886 in there with pics that may help.
The M886 boxes were made by Mark Body Co here in Michigan
any late 70's W200 should do it, most had 4.10 gearing
If ya feel like driving to Michigan, I have a variety of axles ranging from parts to completely rebuilt. I have no good way to ship heavy stuff though.
Regardless of what someone put in the FAQ list
900x20 are not 36" diameter, well maybe if they were completely bald :roll:
The theoretical size would be 38" yet most I've measured are close to 41" tall
I have 11 1.00R20 XL's to put on once I save up the money for new tubes. :cry:
5 us gallons of oil,
read the dip stick, it should have checking instructions.
The filters drain out when not running, check and adjust oil level within a minute of shutting the engine down.
You can buy 2" thick steel spacers, no need for long studs as the spacers have studs in them.
about $100 ea x 4 is why there is not humvee rims on my truck yet.
Yes, I know I can have one made up, and I have the tools and knowledge to make my own.
But I am a sucker for OEM parts, and would like to use the correct replacement if I can find it,
I thought this band over the cut was odd at best, maybe it was just an ID tag that was slipped over the leak :|.
Have an air leak under the dash, thought it was the line to the gauge , and it just needed tightening. Well it isn't the connection, it is a cut in the hose, which had a piece of aluminum wrapped around it, this piece of aluminum was manufactured and not a rig job. Is that a typical repair? or...
Personally I think this online collusion crap is total BS!
If it were a live auction and we were there, we could see / hear who is bidding and decide if we wanted to bid against them.
The way I see it talking about it on a forum is no different.
And if GL is behind these don't talk about it...
2850 RPM :shock:
I'd be looking for a big window in the side of the block!
the red line is 2600 rpm.
Anyway, probably an issue with the in tank fuel pump.
Michelin XL Sizes and Data
the 9.00-20's on my deuce measure about 41 inch diameter, yes the theroretical diameter would be 38 (9 x2 + 20=38 )
as such an 11.00-20 should be 42" yet the spec sheet shows the xl 's at 43.1
STA lists the 9.00-20 ND @ 40.7 diameter and the 11.00-20 @ 43"
According to the spec sheet that I have, the 12.50's are about the same diameter as the 9.00-20's
The max speed rating on those 12.50's is 56mph
But they sure do look nice :drool:
Singles = better traction
Duals = load & stability
I have seen people run either one outside or the one inside on dually pickups in the winter
even seen someone on here running just the outers on the back of his deuce.
The proper way to run the stock rims singled is to "flip" the rear hubs...
