Your talking about the angle iron with the murphy buttons on it correct? If you can't find them you could just make them Angle Iron and the twist buttons. The twist or murphy buttons are threaded and bolt to the angle iron with a little nut. I think they are like 8-32 or something like that.

What does your main data plate say? Does it say M35A2C w/w? Did you buy it from the gubment or from and individual? Those answers might help your questions.

One can make the tow light bar by using two GI tail lights and some box tubing. Bolt light to tubing hook up wires to cable. If you have some take off lights that are in good shape and some box tubing laying around then the whole thing can be done on the cheep.

Huh...I used Chassis Saver on my civilan vehicle and it didn't do good at all. The rust came right back stronger than ever....It was probably my fault in the prep.... :)

If you are just looking to remove the paint and then sand wire brush the rust you might try one of the citris base strippers like citris strip. (I think that is the name) You brush it on and let it sit and then the layers just peal off. There are a few others that are eco freindly and even...

I've always had good luck at free handing it. I look at the picture and then paint the outline of the shape first and then I fill in the middle. Always looked good....besides it's cammoflage.... :)
