Been running 33" tires on GM 1/2, 3/4, and 1 ton 4x4s for 40 years without any lift or problems. I never used a wheel over 8.5" wide.
From 33/12.50-15's to 255/85-16's.

Yes, I'm in the heart of the Western Reserve.
If you ever watched "Mudslingers" on cable my bobb'd deuce can be seen running through the show they did at Yankee Lake in a couple places.

This cardboard was effective enough to get the truck up to 180 at 55mph in -4 weather.
I had no heat/defrost as the core had ruptured and I had to bypass it.
Some M50 series 5 ton engine bays.
First is a Continental 6602 gasser.
The second pic is an A1 with Mack engine.
The third pic is an A2 with a multifuel engine.
Got word that after the auction more troves of parts/equipment were found up in the woods across the road from the house/garage area. They might be finding his stuff for years up in the wooded hills.

Prices were very good on most units. Only a couple were in the upper echelon.
The truck closely resembling a G7173 only brought $1700.
M51 brought $4100.
The CCKW/winch in the hut brought $7500.
At least a couple vehicles bought by SS members.
