    Thanks to clintogf !

I bought this M35 last summmer as it was about to be scrapped by it's owner. Ran good but, there was some bearings gone bad in the sprag transfer case. Pulled the rear driveshaft and drove it home on the front axle. Finally got around to fixing the truck. The best way I new to fix a bad sprag...

deuce w/ 33 tires and a fuel drum

Old military trucks are great for hauling tires/wheels. You're lucky they were not 1100's or bigger!

New EPA Regulations On Large Truck Emissions

Re: Emissions smog! A Monday early evening in July. One could wonder how much worse this might look with no EPA.

    Setup for deep snow?

The MLVW wheels are NOT the same as A3 wheels. They are narrower and have a rim flange like the HEMTT wheels. The 1100R20 Michelin XZL's are 43.0" tall and 11.8" tread width. Useful tire chart. Army Military Tires Wheel Pics provided by Junkyardwarscrusher

    Setup for deep snow?

I have plenty of tire setups for my trucks. The "MLVW singles" setup seems best overall for my winter trucks on snow covered/icey surfaces. Tracks better and goes where you steer.

    my new engine

This motor looks cleaner than yours and was junk. When the pan was pulled it had pieces of #7 piston laying in it. There was a window into #7 water jacket also. It's not a good idea to install any used motor without at least pulling the pan for a look inside. If it is fine, it just cost a pan...

    M35A2 Crew cab w/ tandems

I picked out the seen items of what Jeff and Ken also spotted. It also appears to have the M342 behind the cab stowage box sitting in the back of the cab. If I look real hard I believe I might notice the angled point trunion plate for the rear suspension, not the squared off plate of the M35...

    M35A2 Crew cab w/ tandems

Buy it and save it for some good use. Unfortunately it appears from the pics that a M342 was used for this project.

    1986 M1028, 454 Gasser......?

Limited intake options for an oval port,(peanut port) tall deck. Single plane air gap design. Not a tunnel ram. Dart engineer told me it would start to work well at 3000 rpm. Keeping in mind the rpms a M1008 with the 4.56 rears is turning at highway speeds around 65mph. Motor has been bored and...
