    Looking for GL bid advice

    my .02.... it's a 25 year old vehicle. it will not be in top shape. you will get it at a good price. you will spend what you can afford to R&R all rubber hoses and seals you will love driving it, when it wants you to. you will buy another sooner than later.

    I bought 2 from them a couple of months ago, so far so good. Price seemed reasonable since I couldn't find time to rebuld the ones I had, no core requirement so I now have 2 "spares" that as time allows I will rebuild and mothball until needed.

    softopper.com sells a canvas top that you can run. Not cheap but come in lots of colors, maybe green, maybe black. Topless only works if its cold inside!!!

    I've recently picked up a large lot of Range Fans... REALLY nice, hardly used, being from Ft. Hood and such. I lost the bid for the can of squelch, 12 ea to a case WHO got that???? I think may of been CFC free!!! GOING GREEN!!!!

    Last weekend I took mine to the local carshow and found a pair of Hooter girls in it!!!! I didn't get to keep them, but I do have the twisted memories....LOL SORRY no pics.... their "handler" was there and she took pics, maybe if I search every Hooters in Houston I will find them. I won't stop...

    Kingwood TX Spring CarShow and my entries.... no prizes, but the ONLY vehicles out there that people could actually touch and SIT IN. I heard one little kid ask his dad why they were "dirty", dad had to explain that was CAMO paint..... I LOVE IT !!!!!

    Texas reporting in..... Winter is over!!!!! spent the day at the spring car show..... pictures to follow. It was 80 plus all day, have the shirt tan to prove it. all the girrrrrls running around in shorts, teeez shirts and such.. Hooters girrrrlzs even showed up!!! WHOOP!!!

    why spend the time moving the gen lights, ther is enough room next to voltmeter to add another gauge. I added my temp guage ther (haven't hooked it up yet), but it fits great.

    mde, welcome to the site, and as DH said yes. The turn signals are wired independent of the ignition on the CUCv, M1009. Re-read the operators manual...... you missed the part about operation after dark and the Service drive switch function... Keep readin, keep learnin, keep it going!!!
