What is GVWR of your 1008?
that would be your answer....
Also 4wheel parts has areplacement line, non vehicle specific that fits the 1009, so I would assume they have something to fit the 1008. check them out for pricing, fitment, technical advice
where in East Texas?
I just finished mounting a set of the 37x12.5x16.5's on ProComp 16.5x9.75 4.5" B/S rims. The tire guys couldn't get a good seal on the tires, said they been stacked for too many years. He let them "cook" outside and soften, and then they sealed just great. They fit and look great. Have to...
read through the proper priming sequence in the TM. IT is VERY straight forward...
NEVER EVER crank for more than about 5 secs at a time and let the thing rest after repeated attempts. The strater and associated circuits are not designed for extended cranking. You will release the magic smoke...
WM and dust in his drawers!!!!
WM well now tell us how you REALLy feel about not bringing trash bags for your VERY expensive cameras while traveling in the field........
I guess back in the rear echelon they don't issue dust that often, so apparently you weren't prepared for unauthorized dust...
You CAN'T run it directly from the battery as connected. You will get 24 volts, if I understand your question. If you run from the terminal block you only get 12 volts. If you are wanting to run from one battery you have to ensure that you are only getting 12 volts, not the combined 24.
If you change out the glowplugs and don't use the resistor, the most all the glowplugs can pull is 12volts. If you keep the resistor setup, when one plug fails you reduce the resistance in the entire circuit and increase voltage to remaining glowplugs. If a second fails the voltage goes up again...
BVORR is nice location, but the trails are not "BIGBOY" friendly.....
How "secure" does the area need to be?
The definition is sketchy as D troop could land all over Belton Lake area, certainly not secure with the Ft. Hood open post policy back then.
Weather is an issue, but I'll prepare for...
Close to austin????
I have a sworn dislike of austin.....
but I'd be wiiling to give Bastrop area a shot?????
Any good trails for us around there?

I'm good with any weekend Nov except opening...
My son and I just finished with R&R of both fuel tanks on his '79 K20. LMC had all of the parts. Switches, fuel valve and rubber lines. Don't remember the prices, but had to be done .....
Wouldn't advise putting ANY fuel container inside vehicle, unless it is a FUEL SAFE tank with bladder. As far as installing second tank, why? I would think if you were going to run diesel and then WMO and then diesel\oil mix you would be better off just picking a fuel and sticking with it.
What a GREAT TIME!!!!
I'm still impressed that the 09's could climb the hills.... AND not break any parts
Maybe the underpowered is solved by MORE throttle pressure???
Who has the movie/pics of the BIG hill.... the one I was chicken at first but peer pressure convinced me LOL
I want to see the...
