I'm fortunate in that I never dealt with this guy. I hope he gets caught and the book thrown at him,(much more than that actually!). With that said, I still feel it is in bad taste to post pics of these children who haven't done anything wrong. I know they could have been edited and removed the...
It was a cardboard box I got at a truck stop. It is folded a few times and the pressure of it trying to open itself up kept it in place without any extra help. I did hook one bungee cord from the grill guard to the bottom of the radiator in case it tried to fall out. It didn't need it.
I had at...
When I want to 'pop out" a thin layer of surface, of a somewhat large size, I get a good grip on a soccer or basket ball, look for center of the high point, and then hit it there. Usually pops/pushes it out without leaving marks.
I made a 1,000 mile run in my deuce most of which was at +/- 0 degree weather. It took some trial and error but, I did get the truck to run at a consistant 180 on the gage. It involved no tools and only minutes to prepare. I was surprised at how much I had to block off. Easily removed for warmer...

Thanks. Other than the new tires, I have not done anything to the truck.
The original poster moves fast. I had been looking for more tire info for him and he already has ordered tires. I guess I'm getting slow!
These tires all have some height without being real wide.
My tipper is a M342A2 Deuce Dump truck. Just not a lot of them out there. It has reinforcement plates along the frame rails and a few other items different from a M35. Pics in other threads I've posted in.
My tires I bought used military surplus, 90-95% tread. I paid more than Blacktop did for...
