hey is alfa heaven the only dealers to get restored iron

You need to do more homework. As much as I like the dealers, and when they go out the door - they work. But if you buy off of GovLiq, most 800 wreckers go for $10,000 to &20,000 range. I run a M-819 that I bought for $15,000.

    My M37 got shot!

In cleaning out one of our M37's we did find a spent 50 cal round in a crack in the back of the bed. While target shooting one day at a old gas cylinder, we returned to the Ford pickup to find an indentation of the heel of a .223 round that had flown by our heads and hit the pickup. Some of my...

Finally recieved 2 - SF-97's today, one on a trailer and one on an M812 bridge truck that I had purchased 2 years ago. The reason I am happy, is that a year or so ago, I applied and GL told me that since the sale was over a year old, they would not consider issueing a SF-97. I then complained...

My light weight with fuel was 47,300, according to the book the 3 vehicles should weigh in around 14,600 for a total weight of about 62,000. As for driving, the truck was running very well, and I was well pleased with the power. Unloaded you can cruise at about 55 mph and loaded maybe the 50...

It is Ebay # 200233102473 and it is right next door to me. I need to go look at it. You always like to get into a project on the cheap, but it always ends up biting you in the rear in the end - money wise. I am working on 2 T-15 weasels and I am up to $5,000 apiece in cash outlay and...

    Grafting a DUKW hull onto a CCKW ? ? ?

Would it be worth the time and effort to put a DUKW hull on a CCKW ??? Or how about a M-135, making a super DUKW ? ? ? Or would it be a total PITA and end up with a scabbed togeather outfit ??? Tom
