    2006 M1083A1 6x6 Start up problems.

. I have got to agree with @GeneralDisorder . Your batteries are dead - or almost. These trucks (a lot of them) have a phantom draw against your batteries. My M-1088 will crank after it sits for a week. If it sits for two weeks, it clicks and clacks and won't "go". After about 3 weeks maybe...

2009 Schutt M1101, flattening a crumpled edge, advice needed

. Wow. That little dent is gonna take some real effort. What about drilling the rivets, turn it over and beat it out flat? .

    The next Project an ASMH

. Good deal... Just thinking about how much fun it is when a hose goes through a hole - then your try to pull on that hose - to figure out which one is which. EXCELLENT that he thought it out ahead of time!

Will a TPI intake fit without cutting

. Might be that his HOA or his Wife are complaining "that old motor sitting around" has got to go!

    The next Project an ASMH

. I don't know if you have any "bell wire" (Ma Bell, the 2 inch stuff that carries traffic to the neighborhood) but It will make life a lot easier if you wrap a piece onto each end of the new hoses. You know... The color coded stuff like you use on Cat5 cable would work too. Blue / Spot Blue...

New to the stable. M-54 gasser

. Wow @Guyfang , That Hawk had to beat you half to death too... We used to ride up and down Davidson Street on a M4 tractor on Street Treads. I remember the first time i pulled back a little harder than I should have on the steering clutches - and banged my head against the "roll cage"...

    CUCVRUS Repair Projects

. That is sad. Especially with your experience... Sometimes people just won't listen. Hard Head, soft backside.

M923, long term storage, went to move.. THUMP, THUMP, THUMP on move.. WTF??

. . Hi Chris, So, is it parked on the street now - rather than on soft ground before? The tires... It is possible that it has flat spots from sitting. Your "Thump Thump Thump", could you see the tire rotation timing up with the thump?

    The things you learn

. Yeah well... It could have been much worse - if @Light in the Dark really had put a 802 in his bed... Might have had a little disagreement with the little woman if he did!

    My m925a1 build "Brutus"

. @muthkw25 , that is a GOOD looking paint job. And the bed is amazing... Smooth!

    M1089A1P2 5 Ton Wrecker

. Yes sir! I even suggested that @Guyfang move the question to the LMTV forum. I didn't post a picture of my M1089 showing the "Guide Slide" - but I could...

    M1089A1P2 5 Ton Wrecker

. I have had a similar problem. Stand it all the way up, then spray your favorite penetrating oil on the "guide slide" out front of the crane, beside the hydraulic cylinders. Exercise it. Spray it again, then exercise it again. You will see rusty "goop" come out of the guide slide. Just...
