I have got to agree with @GeneralDisorder . Your batteries are dead - or almost. These trucks (a lot of them) have a phantom draw against your batteries. My M-1088 will crank after it sits for a week. If it sits for two weeks, it clicks and clacks and won't "go". After about 3 weeks maybe...

Good deal... Just thinking about how much fun it is when a hose goes through a hole - then your try to pull on that hose - to figure out which one is which.

I don't know if you have any "bell wire" (Ma Bell, the 2 inch stuff that carries traffic to the neighborhood) but It will make life a lot easier if you wrap a piece onto each end of the new hoses. You know... The color coded stuff like you use on Cat5 cable would work too. Blue / Spot Blue...

So, is it parked on the street now - rather than on soft ground before? The tires... It is possible that it has flat spots from sitting. Your "Thump Thump Thump", could you see the tire rotation timing up with the thump?

I have had a similar problem. Stand it all the way up, then spray your favorite penetrating oil on the "guide slide" out front of the crane, beside the hydraulic cylinders. Exercise it. Spray it again, then exercise it again. You will see rusty "goop" come out of the guide slide. Just...
