And the best part is the machines themselves are designed to be picked up with a forklift.
Sigh we have the same problems here at work lately. Items stacked but priced and shipped with Do Not Stack labels. Very frustrating.
Had to buy big tri-wall shipping cases to pack our double wall boxes...
I bought some decent tires with no or very little cracking for the steers. Also mounted a decent spare just in case.
Rear dual tires lightly loaded seem to just go flat and shrink up barely touching the road if the next door neighbor is still OK.
I keep mine inflated to 50 psi so they do not...
I had been following this for curiosity and I am glad that you solved your problem AND reported it here. So many posters never come back with a solution and it leaves us all guessing.
Thank you.
My transferable registration had it listed as a 1970 JEEP STAK I guess for stake body.
I didn't mess with it. Took the DMV manager to get involved as the VIN is short. I didn't say anything about military just that it is a big old truck.
No issues.
Well for me just push it down very little. Even at that temperature when cold.
I figured I would throw it out there in case you don't have a real bad problem.
These trucks have personality. ;)
How cold is it? Are you pressing down the throttle pedal a little while cranking?
My LDT engine is not super fresh. When cold I hold down the throttle pedal a bit while cranking. Usually takes 5 to 8 seconds I would estimate. It starts catching and if I have the throttle right revs will come...

They are bypassed because they somehow are a path for fuel to...

Passenger side I think I got out two of them. For whatever reason that side is rustier. Was a fun time to drill these out and retap.
Engine Stop Cable I think.
Quick search of two vendors turned it up only for the 2-1/2 ton. Odd.
On fleabay I found this from one of those I searched however.
Looks like a fun truck. Glad you got it home safely. Good luck with it.
Idk how much paint it would take to do the whole truck. I have been mostly painting the undercarriage where the East Coast rust was the worst. I think I used up a gallon of primer and two gallons of paint so far. Brush...
My local Sherwin Williams rep was very helpful when I was looking for paint to use on my truck.
She got together with the support people who recommended SHER-CRYL HPA (High Performance Acrylic)
Can be sprayed, rolled, or brushed and looks pretty good to me.
Went with 24084 paint code from the...
Bimba is a brand name air cylinder and pneumatics company. I think what Simp is referring to is a single acting cylinder with spring return.
You can look at them on McMaster here and there is some helpful information to get you going in the right direction. These may be a different brand but...
