I really like the look of the silver studs and people alway comment how hard it must be to have to pull off all those "Lug nuts' to change a tire. The Matt/Satin Rustoleum paint really holds up compared flat paints. Try the silver paint wheel touch...
That stud cleaner looks like a great product. I touch-up any discoloring studs with a silver wheel touch up pen and have been doing that for years. I cut up some rubber that just fits over the lug nuts and painted the wheels with some spray can Rustoleum matt black. Wheels always look great...
The default for the clutch fan is on and hydraulic pressure from the power steering pump keeps it disengaged. If any part of the system fails the fan will stay on and cool the engine.

Surprised nobody mentioned the Aircraft Dynamics gear. I have the 24v Bradley impact kit and with the torque multiplier it's a beast. Great thing is it's all powered by the trucks batteries. I also have an Aircraft Dynamics 24v very heavy duty drill. Just had to install the slave plug.

1991 M998 with the 6.5 and three speed. 24 bolt wheels with the Goodyear MTRS. I try to run between 60 and 62 and at that the motor is spinning fast.

You can easily pull the engine over by hand with a wrench on the alternator. Go go slow and keep turning for a couple of minutes to make sure you've completed the cycles. If it clears the above test you may be ok.

So am I to understand that the reason they went with these timed boxes is to prevent the driver from over heating the glow plugs via push button? Massive and expensive failure.

Hello all,
Changed out my yellow label start box. Barrel relay was jammed on so it was constantly sending 24v to the plugs. I have another known good box same yellow label Natrona but could someone please explain this afterglow function please? Mine comes on at 20v then the dash light goes out...
