These trucks did not come with winches, but one of them did have 10 driveshafts in the bed. I have not had time to figure out what they fit yet. I will look into it tomorrow.

I just got in a couple of 5-ton M-817 dump trucks that I m going to be parting out. Let me know if you need any 5-ton parts.
I have just about everything, radiators, axles, starters, alternators... I will be totally parting two of these out, so if there is any small thing you want, don't...
bobbed Deuce
I plan to bob my first Deuce soon.
One thing I have been paying attention to is the rear axle alingment. Most people use M105 trailer beds and I probably will too, but that usually requires adjusting the length of the driveshaft to get the axle to lign up with the fender well...

Congradulations on your purchase.
They were duallys originally, but you are talking about trucks that are 30-40 years old. They have been through many changes over the years. I personally like the dual tire look and the original NDT tires.
I am just up the road in Ringgold, GA. I...
I have 1 Deuce left down in Hattiesburg, MS at Camp Shelby that I need brought back to Ringgold, GA which is near Chattanooga, TN.
I just blew the head gasket in my F350 and am really busy at my work. If you could do it reasonably I might be interested.

Ford puller
I have hauled over a dozen home from several states away with my Ford F-350 and 26' gooseneck trailer. I do not feel it is unsafe at all, but all of my equipment is kept in very good shape and is fairly new. Also, my truck is a diesel dually.
I have an amployee who drives a...
I just picked up a Deuce and it has some sort of motor issue that I am guessing someone out there knows how to fix.
When you crank it up it runs wide open. I have heard guys tell of motors running away, but I don't think this is what is wrong with it as the pull switch still kills it and...
no export
Speaking of selling rules, I had a guy call me from Miami who says he wants to buy some trucks to ship to Haiti. I told him I did not think that was possible, but that I would check.
I see that Eastern says they can export.
Is there some type of additional paperwork you can do...

I live just below Chattanooga, TN. I have a dropside. You are welcome to come down and look at mine to see if you can make some.

dropside bed
I have a dropside bed I am willing to sell. It is not pretty at all, but could be useful to someone who wants to use a Deuce for work.

I just bought three M817 dumps that are non-running. I think they all have heaters in them. I will get them for a few weeks, but I should have two complete heater units I can sell then. I would take $150 each for them complete.

Again, come down and see me in Ringgold. I am only 10-15 minutes away from you. I have a bunch of trucks, trailers and parst for both for sale. If nothing else, you can get some valuable insight.

bed available
I am not in the New England area, actually I don't even know exactly where that is, but I od have a Deuce bed and troop seats I can sell.
I also have a Deuce dropside bed available if anyone needs one for working. It has lots of rust and is ugly, but it works.
I am in north...
I am about 2 hours north of Marietta. If they cannot store it I might could get it and keep it for you for a while.
I suggest you contact chiefwollam on here. He is organizing a trip from Alabama to Michigan I think with a big rig. He has a trailer at my place already he is going to come...
I have several sets of misc. seats/top parts that i don't know what they go on.
Can you help me to identifiy them?
If you need them, make me an offer.

Cdl
I don't think he would need a CDL. Get a tag that says up to 26,000# and you don't need one if you stay in your state, even if you do use it for business.
If you get over 26,000#, then you have to have CDL, health card, log books... too much hassle.
The truck weighs around...
bed lengths
I have been serioulsy looking at some LWB trucks on GL and here is what I have observed.
M35 - 2 1/2 ton - 12' bed
M36 - 2 1/2 ton - 17' bed with on e drop side
M814 - 5 ton - 20' bed
There have been several M36's lately and a few M814's. There are several M813 5 ton cargos on...
