Curiosity - front turn light brush guard

They remind me also of the A3 headlight mounts, but they are definitely not those. I would look into more of the European stuff as mentioned above.

    12v alt wiring diagram

Well it works! I was jamming out to tunes tonight. I don't know how much more life my alternator has though. I checked the output and it was 15.7 volts at the alternator. Bit high.

    12v alt wiring diagram

I seemed to be finding wiring instructions with a Delco 10SI referring to that wire as load sensing and as for the indicator light. Bizarre! I "thought" I just connected the load sensing and the field energizing wires together at the alternator on the off-road buggy I had this alternator on...

A3 Wiper Wiring upgrade on an A2

I FIGURED IT OUT!!! One wire is power (27), one wire is ground (bolts to bracket) and the third wire is the power TO the windshield wiper fluid pump. Victory at last.

    12v alt wiring diagram

Your link says the one wire on the alternator is for a dash light. This link says it is for voltage level sensing: Electrical - Wiring up the Alternator - Do It Yourself Hot Rod Kustom Website Hmmm

What did you do to your deuce this week?

You need those spike strips they put in top of businesses to keep the birds off. Last night I started wiring the 12v system on the deuce. I got the charging cable and ground for the battery done then it started to rain. Farkle! I did stop at a custom CB shop on my way home from work and...

    12v alt wiring diagram

Anyone want to check out my wiring diagram? I'm using a 3 wire alternator. I'm not sure where to run the sensing wire. On the last offroad vehicle I had it on I just connected it to the ignition wire. I have a 12v relay in place so that the 12v accessories turn off when I turn off the...

    Hydro-Pneumatic Bed Crane

I really thought about adding more bracing, but the top of the tube is **** near FULLY welded through 3/4" of material. There is the bed floor, the fender support, and then the 1/2" thick piece of plate I put up in there that the tube passes through the middle of. The 1/2" plate is welded to...

    Hydro-Pneumatic Bed Crane

I knew someone was going to ask that right away! I can't say where I got it, how much it costs, or what a part number is. It's one of those things I wish I could share but I can't. :x

    Hydro-Pneumatic Bed Crane

Got it installed today! I'm really happy with it so far. It lifted my 250 lb or so father with 120 psi shop air without even a hint of strain so next I will try it with a full barrel of oil and see how well it works. Just needs some paint!

Why are green or camo cargo covers so hard to find?

I just bought a 3 color vinyl cover down at Aberdeen for like $200. I got it cheap because it had some rust stains from laying in a truck bed and fading, but no tears. I got it home, put it on the truck, and spray painted the entire cover to bring it back to life and it looks great. The guy...

    LDT's in the cans

2 weeks ago I paid $450 for a complete take-out complete turn-key LDT-465-1D motor and transmission with very low miles after rebuild. No can though...
