So I can use the CO2 tank as a backup air source ?

The lmtv has a dual piston compressor it’s pretty reliable. Have you upgraded your air dryer or are you still using the tube with fins?

Any tips on changing a cab?

I used a forklift once. Forks over the cab on some wood to stabilize and multiple heavy ratchet straps around the cab. I bet 4 people could pick a cab up.

    "lincoln" locker

I think it’s a bad idea in the lmtv for normal operation. The dt locker works very well in the rear though. More traction and you really don’t feel it on the road. I think the truck being awd helps. I know that the lmtv axles are popular with mud truck guys and some of them run solid axles. They...

HIGH SPEED GEAR SWAP With Photos, 1995 A-0

You inspired me to swap in my set. Actually I paid someone else to do it. A bit more than I could do myself without screwing something up. I had feared a loss of low end power in exchange for higher top end. Not the case at all. I think the truck is quicker now. The engine can actually work in...

Is an Engine Speed sensor necessary?

Is an Engine Speed sensor necessary?

Fluid level is a different sensor it’s inside the trans.

Is an Engine Speed sensor necessary?

Wtec2 and 3 use the same cab body to trans harness. The wiring in the cab is different between the two though.

Is an Engine Speed sensor necessary?

The trans harness comes out the drivers side of the hump, goes along the drivers side frame rail there is a branch off to the throttle pos sensor and then it crosses over the trans, has a branch off to the output speed sensor and the main part mates with a pigtail coming off the trans housing...

Is an Engine Speed sensor necessary?

Transducer motion also is the output speed sensor. It drives the speedo. When that sensor starts going bad your speedo will act up.
