    Messy oil change

I have a couple of containers lunch meat comes in that I use to put under filters or finish off draining oil in motorcycles...they aren't big but catch the little bit that comes out of the filter...I have the barb on the outside as well for the drain hooked up to a small chunk of hose to drain...

Blowing Drivers Alternator every couple of days?

What kind of batteries are they? The 6t? or a car style replacement? Are they charged up completely? It does sound like a wire is not right as well like shorting out.

    Frame ends cut or not?

Ok that's kinda where I was leaning since it looked way to straight for a torch cut plus the one steel piece is riveted on the frame! So the next question is do you have any of these brackets I am missing? I could use a tailgate and mounts too...I'd much appreciate it!!! Hope you're not...

    New to the M1009

I think I'd start with getting it running...replacing the ignition interlock switch is cheap and easy...I did mine yesterday for 18$ and about 20 minutes.. plus it'll have new keys too...if it has batteries check them for the acid and charge them up...see if it turns over ok and the engine isn't...

    Frame ends cut or not?

I picked up this truck Monday from Chambersburg Pa...met some cool dude from Utah picking one up too...drove out with a Uhaul trailer and off he went...I hope he made it!! My question is, the truck had a plow on it so I cut it off, torched, to put the bumper and spare front grill guard on...the...

    Th400 going bad?

Do they have an output shaft to fit the stock tcase? I've done one for a np203...I was thinking of doing a 4L80E for my 1 ton truck but haven't looked into it yet. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

    Th400 going bad?

So this started right after the motor swap?...any chance you bent the gear selector bar going to the trans? I'd check the rooster to make sure it's in the actual gear in the trans coordinated with the shifter on the column...unhook it from the trans and set it up while in nuetral...gotta make...

An overlooked 'spare' for your parts shelf

I just looked at mine to see if it was leaking or seaping etc...I had a hard time even getting to the filter side connection! I assume pulling the filter off would give better access to it...question also, do you think this would work on the oil line that feeds the oil pressure sensor as well...

    MEP-802A Rodent Proofing

well it is off the ground a good bit! Probably a good idea to block it off anyhow...rubbed through wires sounds really bad!!

    MEP-802A Rodent Proofing

I thought they had a drain hole in the middle that was covered by a mesh type material but not sure...keep them out of there though!! They can eat a genset in no time!!

    MEP-802A Rodent Proofing

I haven't done this yet as I have tons of cats running around and so far haven't had one build a nest yet...I get the mud duabers in mine now and just have to go in and knock them off and vacuum it out once in a while. Is there a hole in the bottom of the case as well? I have heard they can...

Where is my injection pump leaking from?

The leak can come from the injection pump or a cracked line under there...I'd look for a thread about the lift pump as some parts catalogs will give you the wrong one...You may have replaced it with the wrong part that looks like it will work and it will not work...it's in here.

    Finally finished!

Nice!! I really need to get the heat from coming in!! I need ac too but I'll make a kit for that!

    Finally finished!

Dig it!! Did the dynomat help with the heat? I got one of these and a blazer that I know is going to be a heat box!! I put tilt in the blazer and will do the same to the truck! What kind of paint did you use?

FNG, first CUCV. What to do first...

Looks great!! I think there's a sticky on these in the cucv section going through what filters and oil to use...I think a weird part is the fuel pump as some parts catalogs give you the wrong one...the one on the block is what I'm referring to...has to do with the way the pump arm is...

    AcuTemp Refrigerator

I didn't get a controller yet...still trying to figure out which to use...thinking of mounting it in the case with the wires through a grommet sealed up...I got a renogy 24 volt 6 amp that fits right on the top...I'll cut some aluminum angle to mount it with...I may do speed clamps so I can take...

what route does outside hot air comes into the cabin?

Yes check the heat cold blend door in the heater core box...the cable has to be adjusted so it closes completely or hot air from the cowl will get forced in while driving...the hot fire wall can be helped by a spray on stuff called lizard skin...I am not sure if you can get that there but it...

    Suspension Questions - M1008

On a very rare occasion I have seen a shock locked up as it has been blown out, rusted and jammed down...but only on very worn out ones...makes for a very rough ride...seen it mostly on minivans lol....you can un hook the shock and see if it is locked up...usually the piston guide is bent so it...
