Valence, Any luck coming up with something to put on the barrel clamp other then the heat shrink tubing? I'm getting ready to install my gun ring and have a freshly parkerized 1919 I don't want to muck up when using the barrel clamp.

I'm struggling with how it unlatches itself, especially the spring loaded hood latches. Can't seem to wrap my head around this.

sorry, it's been about a year since I ordered them so I don't remember what I paid. It was really reasonable.

Did you check the engine kill cable? Make sure it's pushed in and best to check it at the IP just in case.

. I sent them my old ones and he replicated them one at a time. For all I know, he saved the info for future orders.

Sheepgogg67, You'll find that most folks on this site are diy's. Post your problem, or better yet, do a search and you may your answers here and save yourself a few bucks. The money you save may buy you another MV.

The hard top was in pretty bad shape especially at the mounting flange (lots of rust). Also, with the gun ring, I thought it better to go with the rag top.

So you can roll up the sides.

Got more done on the wrecker these past few weekends. I stenciled the truck, installed the interior, installed the Vic-1, and installed the NOS canvas cab cover. Gun ring is about all that's left.

Borrow or build yourself a power bleeder. It's the best way to bleed the entire system. Also, as posted above, follow the protocol for bleeding.

I wish I had a buddy trying to sell me a halftrack. There are Facebook halftrack groups that can share the drawings with you as well.

I use my knee as the scissor lift. :grd: I also just unbolt the hinge from the truck or door rather then try to remove the pin.

Nice halftrack. I'm awaiting my opportunity to score one of those.
