    Military vehicles at car shows

I've done a few car shows as well and usually get a great response. I entered a car show in Temecula CA. a few years ago, I received a few stink-eyes when I drove thru so I intentionally stomped on the throttle to throw up some nice plumes of unsent diesel, you never saw so many dust brushes...

    My first MV, an M43.

Nice looking truck. I agree with flyingvan911. Mechanical is much easier to fix then rust and rot.

    M-Gator overheating

Cool idea. I ended up borrowing an "air lift " tool from a mechanic friend. Vacuum bled the system and filled it at the same time. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

Wrecker I.D. Help Please???? M62 or M543 maybe???

Base plate for vise is standard and my vise is missing as well. Also, spare tire on M543 is directly behind cab, centered and parallel to the back of the cab.

Wrecker I.D. Help Please???? M62 or M543 maybe???

Looks just like the M543 I have. I don't see the spare tire on the side of the crane like an M62.

mkcoen, I've got the reinforcement plate already. I have heard the plate is optional with the M49 ring but mandatory when mounting an M66 ring.

Mounting MG3 gun ring on a Deuce

I have a set of legs but no gun ring. An MG3 gun ring looks like it would work with some simple manufactured plates to span from the legs to the ring. Anyone mount this style ring to their truck?
