Very few private buyers are parting trucks. Most that are parted or scrapped are bought by business' that won't pay taxes up front but will collect sales taxes on parts sold. JMO
Ok, I found some info. on CNG engines. They are spark ignited so there is no way to convert a diesel without some kind of ignition system installed.

So what are the Over The Road trucks running for engines that run on CNG? I see them filling all the time near my work. I am talking about Peterbuilt, Kenworth, etc.
Sounds to me like the trailer wheels are not designed for Disc brakes. If you want to be able to interchange wheels with the trailer get another pair of Chevy wheels for it.
I agree, it has to do with downsizing, which by the way will come back to bite us in the backside. I picked up an O/H'ed MEP804A with 26 hours on it. It was O/H'ed at 21 hours and got a new engine. Great example of your tax dollars at work. I also just won a '92 M925A2 that was O/H'ed in 4/12...
The Goodyears have a far superior sidewall design the all the Michelins. If Michelins sit flat for a little(not long at all) while the sidewalls crack and break open. The Goodyears handle sitting on flats a lot better without damage. Just my .02 from observation of the tires.
