Is it a single 24volt battery? If so see if you have enough room to use 2 12volt batteries instead. My batteries went bad on my MEP804A, instead of using the BIG batteries like in the 5 tons (6TN) I put in 2 group 24s for $55 ea and a small mod to the hold down bracket. It starts just fine. I...
One additional security item is a keyed ignition (start/stop) switch. I have locking door handles too. So first you have to get my doors unlocked/open, then you will have to unchain/free my steering wheel, then you will have to "Hotwire" it. Oh, then you have to sit in that noisy beast while it...
Well I now get to endure this. Auction won on 3/9/16, EUC and DL emailed 3/10/16 and will pay on invoice on Monday 3/14/16. So now I wait. Oh, and this was for an M200A1 generator trailer which I don't even understand why it would have an EUC requirement. Who is the idiot that decides what gets...
Still not a fair comparison, not a 6X6, not off highway conditions, and not the trans that is in the M939 series truck. You can do what you wish, after all it is your truck. But you really should compare apples to apples and not apples to cats. JMO
I have talked with a few trans "Rebuilders" and the consensous from them is if it is "New/Rebuilt" start off with your choice of acceptable fluids(10wt, 15W40, Dexron, etc.), but if the trans is NOT new then it is best to continue using the same fluids that are in it as that is what is absorbed...
As a note, I have delt with 4 winch trucks and found 3 of them had the cable wound backwards. So if your controls operate backwards it may have the cable reeled backwards.
That would depend on what is on the title/sf97. If those paper(s) have it, it is now part of the S/N, if they don't it isn't part of the S/N. I have seen paper work (title or SF97) be both ways.
When you go to register it in your state make sure to take the receipt with you showing the sales tax and many states will not charge the sales tax again, but some states will. Check with your local DMV.
OK, I have to ask. Is there plenty of fuel in the tank? Just seeing what may look like a 1/4 tank may not be enough. The fuel is empty when there is 5-6 gals still in the tank.
