    Actual Rating for MEP-804B

804 is a 10 wire head, not 12. I load tested my 804a at 18k with no issues, it didn't like 21k. The video is after a used motor swap, so it was smoking more than normal to blow out the cobwebs https://youtu.be/HZuCSmFHLV4

    MEP 804b MPU source?

I had a ghost also on a 805, got mad, disassembled whole control coupla, put it all back together. I didn’t fix anything, but this day, its the most reliable. my guess is corrosion or bad connection, now the $10k question, which one.

    MEP 804b MPU source?

You can operate injection pump by hand, for troubleshooting. Takes 2 soldiers unless you have really long arms. My guess is mpu same as robert. Unless something got knocked loose with the tip over. Might check all relays behind control panel

    MEP 804b MPU source?

Correct, the small mpu on 804 is the speed sensor on the tranny on an 03 379 pete, the large is on an 03 w900 kenworth tranny

    MEP 805B won’t shut off

Use that link, it has all troubleshooting. If you remove gov actuator, take out bolts, and be easy, it slides to remove, and don’t destroy gasket when sliding. There is fuel in there as well
  17. 155mm

    MEP 805B won’t shut off

Disconnect line at tank, or before fuel pump, no possible way for that line to have pressure, it’s suction.
  18. 155mm

    MEP 805B won’t shut off

It only has one pickup line, right side under alternator, goes to fuel pump then filter. The line on left side is returned fuel
  19. 155mm

    MEP 805B won’t shut off

Take line loose at tank or before pump
  20. 155mm

    MEP 805B won’t shut off

You are having governor actuator issues.if you cant manually shut down, loosen fuel supply line at injection pump
