I gave up my CDL for he same reasons MONEY and lower alcohol limits even tho I do not drink. I was Tanker, Passenger, School Bus rated. You have to have drug tests too you pay for. This is the reason I bought the M1078A0 and the Washington State DMV said due to the empty weight of 17,500 lbs it...
I know just that the part that would be needed heated is in the fitting and no way you can heat it and not damage other stuff. My bottle was empty it had a rusted hole in it too. My can crushed with a chain wrench the rust was so bad and started falling apart to the point I could pull it forward...
Heat will do only harm on this! Spray some penetrating fluid the day before and let it set over night. If the tank is rusted you should be able to pull the canister on a angle and go back and forth till the tank breaks off at the screw part of the tank. Then remove the tip in the fitting.
Mine was stuck too real good! The tank was rusted and when I tried to remove it the Tank tore off the fitting!! Then I could get ahold of the part in the threaded hole. I used a pipe wrench and a also held the bottom cause this is connected to a tube you can screw up twisting it around. Once I...
We need some stuff for us guys on the East Side of the Cascades in Washington State! I live 50 miles from Canada in the top middle of the state. Dam virus stuff has ruined a lot of good things in the works around here! Taking over 500 mile drives for a day outing is a lot of pain on my old body...
Boy I down loaded lots of good TM information on this system!! I know a lot more on how it works except the chart on pressures? I really looked too even search this site. I still have to find the Neg Ground that feeds the dash to the frame. I think it is messing with the control box working off...
OK My CTIS is working now and reading this thread it is not mentioned what pressures are for the tires? My CTIS will set the tires at HWY 58 PSI and at the Sand 32 PSI haven't checked the XC PSI yet. So is this right on the pre set? They sure do go down fast compared to filling back up!
First Parade and it was fun then after it was over went for a 70 mile floored drive! Man this truck runs nice and smooth for a 2 1/2 ton Tactical Vehicle! Cranked up the music and just waved at a lot of people going by. I drove to out VFW Place in Tonasket and took a picture.
I have/had In-Line Electrical Pumps on a couple vehicles with Engine Mounted Pumps. I flip it on for my 454 Chevy when extra pressure is needed, it can drink some fuel on a steep hill pulling a trailer full of hay bales floored. If you can blow air the way you want the fuel to go it will flow...
Man if your stuck try it one way for a split second to see if it works. Your not going to kill the fuel pump you just want to see if it pumps first then hook it up correctly. Good Luck and if I don't have a meter I can stab the wire into me a little till I feel the juice for a simple test. Lamp...
I use it in everything including my Mower. Things from 1948 up to 2005 so far and love it. Dropped my 48 Power Wagons Water Temp about 15 degs back into normal range! Good stuff if it leaked before it will still leak. I have never saw new leaks using it so far over the last 15+ years. Just put...
Least my Speedometer has smoothed out and on the way home I only had 1-light on the HWY Tire Air Control. Used to work quit and started again then quit once more? Sure glad it runs, drives and stops great cause it would be a bummer having a bunch of engine and transmission problems. I still...
Back Home it was fun the parking was full so I went off road and drove to the fence next to the auction. The guys loved it and was asking if it was to be auction off? The best part was I looked over at my truck and there was someone sitting in it??? Went over to ask why when I saw his Korean War...
That little inside O-Ring is a real bugger to put in. If you left a tiny piece of O-Ring in the slot it will leak again. It took me about 15 mins to get the slot clean and the new one in that slot. So far mine is not leaking anymore.
Doesn't this connection connect the 12/24VDC Negative to the Starter and then the braided goes to the Frame? Course the starter is bolted to the engine to for another path. Either way seems this is a important connection to be good for a lot of reasons. Driving it to a Auction this morning to...
Glad it was the Negative? It will look nicer when done. Still shinny under the nut and washers I hope. Ya looks like crap to me right now and glad I don't give up easy. Hoping this changed things to the good when corrected. Does not matter all this needed done when the batteries wiring cable...
