Oh for sure, I plan on doing the spin on filters sometime in the next 6 months or so. I have so many things going on right now that I don't get much time to myself between work, the old lady, the kids, projects for the house, ect, lol.
I'm glad I caught it before I had a catastrophic failure of...
I don't own the same vehicle, but my deuce has a battery disconnect hidden in the cab. I forget to switch it off a few times too many and after a couple days of not running the truck, the batteries are weak, almost dead. I'm pretty sure I have some hunting to do to find what is drawing a low...
I'm sure there was a few post from a while ago on this topic, so if the moderators deem it necessary to move the thread then please do, just wanted to share some information as it seems it's not a rare event.
So here for the last month and a half, I figured my IP (Injection Pump) was leaking...
Okay, ever since I mentioned range stuff, all these other guys are coming up with range and gun stuff, but ain't no one had a fricken armory in the back of their truck yet. See that's why you vote for me and my truck "The Pestilence". When the blue hats come.....*cough*....*cough*.... When the...
Depends on what your main intention for the winch is as well. For a mud bogger or typical off roader, you probably want it higher. For recovery of other vehicles, then either a lower mounted or higher is fine. It's really for ease of accessibility and cleanliness. I've had a couple winches and...
When we do a long range only kinda outting, the land we shoot on has some hills and in order to see 700+ yards, without a target being 10ft tall, laying prone in the back of the deuce on top of some shooting mats works great!
Range day with the deuce in it's natural element. Rubber dummy was 15 yards. First steel plate was 150 yards and the gong was 400 yards way in the back.
The new to me deuce compared to the old one I used to have. The newer one, though is actually older ('69 vs '72), is much nicer. It's better prepared for the offroad experience and has highway speed capabilities. Plus it's camo, I'm surprised I can even see it half the time. Imo, it's worth the...
I guess I didn't realize we are actually campaigning, lol.
What is really cool, I have pictures of both of my kids, when they were 3 in the deuce, the oldest being 10 now. My oldest came with me when we got our second deuce. My truck might not be the bee's knee's, but it's already building...
My guess is if you have those side vents open, dust blows in and circulates throughout the cab. I have lots of dirt and dust in my cab having those open when driving in dusty conditions or on dirt roads.
You should yes, incase of a short, it'll burn the linkable fuse and not the entire wire or have a higher probability of causing a fire. You can cut that fuse out and just patch it in, or buy a new fuse to attach.
