If you resale it to someone else, you need to have them sign paperwork stating that is for off-road use only. Let's say you sell it to someone and they go and get a title and drive it down the road. Then they get into a wreck and kill someone. When the investigation goes through and they find...
3dAngus is right. They are being sold as off road use only. Let's keep them that way. If the powers that be see that everyone is going to try and sneak around and get titles, then they will probably close the door on the sales completely. We have rules prohibiting certain topics being...
There wasn't too much changed externally between the models. The A1 got a higher gear ration and the A2 got the 6.5L There was also some changes to the seats, grilles, parking brake handles, etc.
Here is a good link with info on the different models...
Leatherneck, the first thing we need to know is what kind of condition it is in right now. Does it still run and drive? You should be able to gain some access to parts via the government program. Some pictures would also be useful for us to help point out some potential issues that we might...
So you will be right back at home. lol Not sure about the 5 tons, but I helped a guy recover a M35A3 and it would barely pull itself about 10 mph. Had to change the fuel filter on the side of the road, might be something worth bringing and having the stuff to change one if needed. Bring...
Looks like your passenger intermediate tire is flat. Is this your first military vehicle? Have you driven anything this large before? Also if you can find someone to check it out for you that would be a great help, also if someone has dealt with that GL location before. Make sure they will...
Good to hear that you got a chain that is large enough. Also glad no one got hurt or anything damaged when the other chains broke (I assume this since it wasn't mentioned). Make sure you do inspect your chain periodically for any stretching in the links. If you do get a winch for it, be sure...
The last part of your trip should be on I40 through Arkansas, I drove that about 5 months ago and their was a section with a lot of construction. It might be complete, but they seemed to be redoing a lot. Maybe someone in that area can give some updates. I would suggest to try and make your...
Awesome. Thank you CARNAC and cbear!!! I've done all kind of searching and never came across another picture like it. Now I have a link. Oh can CARNAC you were correct with it being pre-39. I did the one thing I try to never do, took the picture out of the album. On the back it was hand...
The 37mm Pak also helps a lil with the size of the car, except it's on an incline. I've looked through the rest of the album and haven't seen any other pictures of it. Later I'll try and search through it again and see if I can see on in the background of another picture.
I was trying to...
I was intrigued from the first time I saw it. It doesn't appear to be very tall. Maybe 6ft total when looking at the soldiers standing next to it. Since most WWII soldiers weren't very tall, when you collect uniforms from WWII you notice these things. lol
