I think you've already identified the big difference - size. 5 ton's bigger size and weight means CDL, commercial insurance, gigantic (instead of merely huge) parts, 32 point u-turns (instead of 16 point), worse mileage, and so-on. Parts are equally available. Many of the 5 tons already have...
