Truck-lite made the clearance lights but I contacted them and the do not distribute/sell the seals individually you have to purchase the entire assembly to get the seals with you can special order through NAPA for $30-$45 each.
My solution was, I ordered some 1/8" and 1/4" foam rubber with uv...

This worked for me. I had to drill the hole out just a little bit but they are still holding up 18 months later.
Thanks for the kudos, Thats my creation (the batteries picture) using group 31C Batteries. Let me know how I can help. A year and half later and 5,000 miles with no problems.

I have a 2003 M1078A1 with the 3126 CAT. After my gear swap and rear locker install it went from 3.5MPG to 6.5MPG and 69MPH to 73MPH. The MPG was calculated at cruising speed of about 58-60MPH before and after. Using cruise control that I installed and after reconfiguring the CAT ECM/Computer...
That is another option. I do like how the CTIS is protected though and it would be nice to not have it coming off the end of the stud. If you don't mind what did you pay for the wheels?
Funny you should post those pictures of the aluminum wheels. Two days ago I found a full set of the same wheels and was wondering the same thing. To make the CTIS work a cross hole would need to be drilled in the large stud an O-ring is used behind the wheel to make the seal between the wheel...
I can't explain why mine was originally getting such terrible gas milage besides the obvious high RPM's at 55mph. But with over 2,000 miles on it prior to the gear change and checking it a few different ways, thats what I was getting. It surprised me to, but with no trouble codes or any other...
My flasher was bad and this is what i used to replace it.
Truck-lite Ultra Flash II, Heavy duty solid state Flasher 12 or 24 volt operation.

if you have an A1 with the computer controlled ECM its just a matter of having Caterpillar change the settings in the ECM.
I had them change my ECM settings and now reads correctly.
Now the vehicle tops out at 74mph according to the speedometer. After a 250 mile trip loaded with a 1951 M38...
With my recent reflash of the cat ecm that took my HP from 275 to 330 I didn't notice any decrease in power except from the seat of your pants, it takes off much quicker and up to speed much quicker.
I bought a complete front and rear axle from steve to get the gears, bonus all the other spare...
I just purchased the locker from Steve6x6x6 and installed it (in the rear axle) along with the gear change to the 3.07 ring and pinion. I plan to do a write up soon. But after the install I took it for a test drive and absolutely love the gear change it drives completely different my take is...
Yes it comes with a 1yr parts warranty with option to pay $300 for an additional 3 years.
And yes they were able to program it without the truck as in my case. I live 1.5 hours from a cat service center. Hauling a dead truck that far isn't fun.
But I'm not sure in every case. I had the truck...
Removed the ECM and took it to CAT service center and it did test bad. I ended up buying one from them and having them reprogram it with the 330 HP. Put it in and everything is working again.
It's a sad day here, after my truck sat still for a few weeks during the crazy holiday schedule, it decided to not run any more......Crank and Crank and Crank but NO start!!!
I had a CAT mobile service tech come by and try connecting to the ECM and start diagnosing the problem. After 2 hours of...
