    LMTV Missing Guages Question

Yes I know about Sultan's brush truck BR52...I remember seeing it when they got it last year. They wanted to update their M35 to something "easier" to drive. Talked to one of the Chiefs or maybe he was a Captain? Anyway he gave a dime tour of the truck. Guess he was the guy to paint it red...

    1997 M1078 will not start

The M0017703 and M0017705 starters are interchangeable. The only difference is the 03 has a small connector on the end that is not used anymore. Other than that the 05 is e-coated and the 03 is painted. Everything else is the same.

I have fixed damaged radiator tubes with JB weld... Only 3 had tubes holes... This was on my CUCV and it worked for years and was that way when I sold it. As far as I know it's still in the vehicle. A radiator shop can close the tube off on the tank end if it is only a few damage tubes but...

Is there a consensus on cab floor sound / heat shield?

How do you like this stuff? Is it a rubber or asphalt? It's hard to narrow down what I want to use. There are 3 things I want... One is sound, and of course heat and lastly I wants something that will resist water. The stuff the factory used will soak up water. As a matter of fact I spray the...

I really wasn't trying to win this auction. I have been watching GP for awhile and wanted to learn the bid mechanics on GP. I threw in a token bid, one bid of 3800.00 just to see how it worked. Didn't even dream I would have won this and too this point only one other truck in Washington went for...

Critical FMTV PM not covered in TMs

DO NOT use skydrol (aircraft fluid)! This will ruin the entire system! If the system isn't designed to use Skydrol it will eat and destroy every part in the system that isn't metal! (I work at a major aircraft company and see what skydrol does to stuff... and that is turn stuff to goo rubber...
