    GPS speedometer/tach combo

How many do you want?? I have a couple cases of them 24 volt, Primarily up grade kit for M951A1 . Could work with HumV with clever custom dash layout. Sensors, cables included. Takes the place of speedo and tach locations. 24 volt. Not water proof / submersible. Be the first to do it, CAMO

Mystery Dash Switch in 1986 M998

If all of the cooling system is up to snuff... one shouldn't be overly concerned with an over temperature condition. If cooling system can not maintain the +/- 190 to 220 degree range with system cycling as need, time to look into problem. (my experience 6.2L, other engines /...

    Toe Jam

I would add after one tears it all apart... Wire brush all the threads, blow it out and anti seize them up. Cranking on them with a pipe wench is one thing then OK. More to know than toe with the HumV. Proper toe doesn't make it go in the right direction either. Research thrust line >>...

    Generator Friction Noise

Here's a thought... Might want to check if one of the mounting ears has broken. Usually the lower front one. Just saying, CAMO

HMMWV M998 presentation across the Atlantic.

You don't need pictures. Guess one could soak / spray some of that back "flex sealer" stuff on it. Your the boss........... You got it! Spot on, CAMO https://www.flexsealproducts.com/product/flex-seal/

    Seal replacement

I am not sure you can get the seal out because of the "C" shaped diff mount (left or right side hanger paws) overlaps the seal just enough to be a PITA... as in just pull the diff and do all of them. ( 3, in and outputs) I could be missing something in the translation ... But couldn't do it...

    eHMMVW

Not sure why one would want to use any of the drive train. Four smaller motors with simple gear reduction to each portal hubs. Fancy computer to manage traction / spin control / sync / lock-up. Selective wheel drive 1, 2 , 3 or 4... front or rear??. Include all the regen / braking stuff...

    Newbie Tire Change Help

Another part of the proud HumV owners log book. Read and heed all the safety info. Remove ALL the air by removing the little schrader valve thingie FIRST. O ring and torque wrench by the book as said. Many ways to remove the runflat. See the many U-tube videos. Some funny, some clever...

24v battery maintainer set up help

Question from the peanut gallery. When first time plugged in... do you have to step thru the settings to get to 24 volts and or type of cells?? That could get old real fast if it resets. Used them on emergency rig. To keep from ripping the cord out of the wall, ran it thur the steering wheel...

Shifter Box Rivet Nut Installation Help

Your more than half done... Note the wires (label if confusing) carefully twist and pull the connections at the "Packard connectors" one for the light and two for the neutral start switch. Remove the linkage pins and done. Snap a picture or five if memory is slipping. These nut clips might...

    400amp alternator

This guy figured it out............. IMO, with it off (watching out for toe's or a hernia) hand spin and see what you got. Grinding, sloppy fit-up, bobble- wobble , etc... open it up and become the expert. I'am not sure at this point, but if someone put it together, one can surely take it...

    400amp alternator

I got to ask... What are you going to do with 400 Amps? That's a lot of Woopie. You could thaw out all the pipes at once in Ohio this winter. Supersize that bugger... err burger combo, Jack...., CAMO

    power supply

My thinking.... if it turns on and starts... for the moment your good. There are issues with the "Keyed Switches" so owners beware. (flakey cheap A$$ switches in many cases) My question in cold Colorado how did you get it started without glow plug action??? As for the other circuits best to...
